15 dog pack today!
Excuse me sir, what does it feel like to be a ham?

Thiccc boy Hank
Loading process today was a bit messy. We have two dogs in our mini pack who have only attended one pack previously so they’re still fresh meat. And then my niece Lily is with us today and she does not know the rules and has never been with us before. Everybody was able to get into the car safely and when their name was called, but it took some work.
This is a great example of why we only introduce one new dog to the pack per hike, because it requires a full set of hands to manage a new dog and help them understand the rules.
You can see during the loading process we work on impulse control, name recognition, basic obedience, and the out command.
Just a little impromptu play session. Because what else would you do on your half day off except call your clients to come play with you 😂
Scout learned how to drink from an outdoor drinking fountain today!

Auggie had an awesome first swimming lesson today! He made so much progress. Auggie was pretty nervous about the water before today, so we took our time. We started with relaxing before we even got out of the car, and then Auggie was allowed to sniff around and explore his surroundings. We started practicing basic obedience, and moved closer to the water, and continued what we were doing. He did a nice long relaxation activity next to the water before I ever invited him into it. By the end of our session, he was able to freely run through the stream,

Teaching Benny how to play Benny in the Middle! Benny is a very energetic boy, and today he communicated to us that he really wanted to run some energy out. If you don’t have a backyard or a safe place for your dog to run, get yourself some long leads! You can get 30, 50, and 100 ft leads on Amazon for $20 people! Dogs need to run. It’s biologically satisfying for them, so find a way to incorporate this into your regular routine.
People ask us all the time if we just play with dogs for a living. The answer to that is no, we do a whole lot more than that! But on gorgeous spring days in yards filled with dandelions…yep we are playing with dogs all day long!
