🌵 First Down Tucker 🌵
Tucker is a gorgeous palomino gelding standing at 15.1 hands tall. He is currently clocking 2D/3D times with very limited hauling. True 1D potential. He is AQHA registered. An own son of FIRST DOWN FRENCH which is the sire to none other than the late and very great LEMON DROP, That Stevi Hillman dominated on! Making him a Grandson of the one & only “FRENCHMANS GUY”. Youth approved. He is also finished on the head and the heel side. He is fancy broke with all the right buttons. Not only is he a blast to ride, but he is uncomplicated making him perfect for someone who can’t ride everyday but still wants to win on the weekends. I promise the first person to come and throw a leg over him will take him home. He’s that nice.

💕 Marilyn 💕
Marilyn is a gorgeous cremello mare standing at 15.1 hands tall. Only 5 years old. It does not get better than her when it comes to mind and ability. Fancy broke. She will one hand neck rein, has a big stop, side passes, backs, picks up both leads, etc. She is kid safe, beginner safe, and husband safe. No mare attitude. She came from a ranch where she was used to day work on. She has been started on the barrels. She is currently clocking in the 4D with tons of room to improve. She is the total package.

Rose is a 2014 model sorrel mare. She has been hauled all over. PROVEN 1D/2D. Stats available upon request. She has a super cool style. No funny business and the same trip every time. No alley issues. A breeze to haul and a blast to ride. Rose is AQHA registered but her papers were lost. We know who she is and can easily apply for duplicates. Easy keeper and stays fat off air. One of the best looking sorrels we’ve ever seen. Does good with other horses. Fancy broke. She has a sliding stop, spin, one hand neck rein, side pass, and flying lead change. She is broke enough to go and do anything on. Youth approved. She has also been exposed to cattle. We can’t say enough good things about this mare. She is the real deal.

Cupid is a 6 year old Lippizaner and Welsh cross standing at only 14 hands tall. Don’t let his size fool you though, he is built for all size riders. Cupid is always a pleasure to work with. He is extremely smart and picks up on things quickly. He has never taken a lame step. Family friendly, gentle, and safe. He can be a little forward under saddle. He rides both English and western. Would make a great addition to someone’s hunter jumper program. He would also excel as a playday pony. He has also been started on driving. He is a young well started pony with his whole life ahead of him.

Player is a 6 year old gelding standing 14.3 hands tall. We have had this guy since march of 2021. He has been on and off the back burner all year. Milo is a well rounded gelding standing around 14.3 hands tall. He is 12 years young. He is a gorgeous bay roan. Milo has made his living as a ranch horse down in Texas and he is good at his job! Doctoring, roping, sorting, and herding… he can do it all! Youth approved. Husband safe. In addition to ranching he has been trail ridden in multiple states. You point and he will go. He will cross creeks, ditches, rail road tracks, logs and navigate rough terrain. He is traffic safe. Fancy broke. He has a smooth trot, rocking chair lope, a good stop, turns a circle both ways and backs with ease! Milo is a confident horse on the trails and will lead the crew or head out alone with no issues! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer, turkey, peacocks, and other animals like cows and dogs. He has been rode many miles and has encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Kids can ride double or triple on him with no problems. And I have personally seen this! Previous owner said that if you can hold on to the reins, you can ride him.

He’s been ridden by kids, adults, beginners, husbands, grandparents, etc.

He loads and unloads great. Stands for the farrier. Easy to catch. No maintenance required. He is good with other horses.

Crossbow knows all the playday events. We took him around the barrels with ease.

Previous owner used him on the Cowgirls for Christ mounted drill team and he has also been used at clinics.

Crossbow has been with his previous owner for most of his life. They couldn’t tell us enough good things about him. They told us that the only reason they were getting rid of him was so they could afford to feed this winter.

If you are looking for a jr.high/ weekend warrior on a budget this is your girl! She is recently being put back in shape after being out to pasture (no fault of her own). She is going to be cheap before we sale prep.

She has been off the playdays for the past two years until recently. Previous owner used her for 15 mile trail rides. She would make an excellent trail or parade mount.

No maintenance necessary. She does need a little TLC including building her top line back up and being put back in shape. Pics are recent.

Latte knows all the playday events. Easy to ride just kick and point. Latte is super forgiving so I think she would make a great youth rodeo horse.

She does have a beauty mark on her nose. It’s almost like a skin tag. She does not feel it and it doesn’t bother her. Vet put a rubber band around it and it should fall off within the next week or so.

Price will increase once we start hauling her and put her through sale prep. Get her while she’s cheap.

Gray is an all around ranch gelding. He has been roped off of and is a finished switch ender. He will spin a hole in the ground.

He is built like a tank and would suit any size rider. He is as broke as they come. He will ride in anything; halter, hack, etc.

Neck reins, side passes, opens and closes gates, spins, sliding stop. He is FANCY BROKE.

He’s broke enough to where you could go and do absolutely anything on him; playdays, ropings, trails, etc.

Youth approved if youth can ride. Only reason I say this is because he’s more broke then most people. He does what he’s asked when he’s asked and sometimes an inexperienced rider isn’t ready for that. He can also be quick on his feet.

Stands great for the farrier. We just put a new set of shoes on him. Loads and unloads himself. First one to meet you in the pasture. Gets along well with other horses. Stays fat off pasture and super easy keeper.

Nothing phases him. He’s is road and traffic safe. You point and he will go. Will ride out alone or with other horses.

This type of gelding doesn’t come around often!

Peaches will ride out alone or with other horses. Was previously used as a trail horse. Has been ridden through rough terrain. You point, and she will go. She also goes any speed you ask.

She stand to mount and dismount. Easy to catch. Loads and unloads great. She’s a super easy keeper and will stay fat off air.

She rides in pretty much anything. We’ve ridden her in an O Ring snaffle, a hackamore, and even a halter and lead.

I could see her excelling as a lesson horse. She would also do well packing people around at a dude ranch.

She knows all the playday events. I don’t expect her to be some fast horse but she will get the job done. Great for a family who’s just getting started in the rodeo scene.

She is traffic safe. Trains do not bother her. She’s also been around dogs, livestock, and exotic birds with no issues.

Previous owner told us that she was once registered. Do with that as you please. We are not guaranteeing papers or anything of that sort. Please do not ask what her registered name is or who she’s out of as we do not know.

Domino is a gorgeous black and white paint gelding. Great height and build to make him the perfect fit for any size rider.

He is fancy broke. Will one hand neck rein in a halter and lead. Side passes, backs, has a sliding stop. He ground ties and will stand to saddle and mount. Loads and unloads like a pro. Easy to catch. Great for the farrier. Honestly I can’t say enough good things about this gelding!

He is kid safe, husband safe, grandma safe, beginner safe, etc. This gelding is safe enough for the entire family to ride.

He was previously used as a lesson horse at a therapeutic riding center.

He’s the same horse in the arena as he is on the trail. You can ride him out alone or in a group. He does great with other horses. No kick, buck, or bite.

Taxi is a playday horse who has been off for a few years. She knows all the playday events. Since she’s been with us we’ve been hauling her and legging her back up. Grade, not registered. Latte is super fancy and so easy to get along with. She was used to do day work and was a little girls play day horse before coming to us. Latte clocks the 3D barrel pattern and knows most of the other playday events. She loads, stands tied, great for farrier, stands to be saddled, stands to mount, ground ties, and much much more. We have tested this horse in every way possible. We’ve tried to try to find something she won’t do and we can’t. She is honestly boom proof! And we don’t like to use that word often. She’s out of Zan Parr Jet Smooth and One flashy play girl. She’s got the height and the build. Standing at 15.3 hands tall. Perfect size for any rider. She lopes the barrels and is started on poles. A little about us; My name is Sara Reddin. The Paret name is a family name. Paret Ranch was once a well known ranch that raised prized Brahman bulls. I wanted to incorporate my last name along with my families last name which has since then become Paret Reddin Horses.

What we do; We strive to find the best homes possible for our horses. With honest representation of each animal we receive. Our main goal has always been to give horses that have ended up in less fortunate situations a second chance. We are partnered with the SPCA of Texas and with them we take rescues and re evaluate everything they know to improve their chances of finding and excellent forever home. Occasionally we rescue horses from sale barns and or kill pins. We do this for the horses. We are fighting for rescues to make a comeback! A rescue horse can go just as far and do just as much as any other well bred horse out there. That is our main goal. Every horse deserves a second chance, and that is what I’m here for.

If you are a horse owner, and need to rehome a horse please keep us in mind. We understand that things happen and families fall on hard times. Please consider us before contacting a kill buyer and or taking your horse to a sale barn. If you want to ensure your horse ends up in the best possible home this is change to do so. We are always in the market for broke horses. They must require little to no maintenance. Needing some weight is not a problem. Must be older then 4 and under 25. 🦄 Sugar🦄

Everyone meet Sugar. She is a 10 year old POA mare around 13 hands tall. I was told she was once registered but the papers were lost. She’s been previously used as a ranch pony. You can swing a rope off of her. Owners used her for roping and checking on their cattle and fences. We initially purchased her to use as a unicorn for our leadline birthday parties as she is an amazing leadline pony. She did that for a few months but we realized she was to large for what we were wanting. Since then we’ve had our trainer riding her and using her for lessons. She’s been started on barrels and we think she has allot of potential to be a jam up little barrel horse. She works great off leg pressure. Has an amazing stop. She’s extremely easy to catch in a pasture. Stays fat off air. Stocky enough for any size rider. Loads and unloads like a dream. Nothing phases this little mare. We have had a dog almost her size jump up on her and run around her and she doesn’t even bat an eye. I recommend her for an advanced beginner to intermediate rider. She does have a few flaws. She is not the pony you are going to give your kids as a first horse for Christmas. She is not for beginners, though I do think an older advanced beginner would do fine. She always has an attitude. Will pin her ears at you constantly. She will test you to see what she can and can’t get away with and will crow hop every now and then. We are noticing that as we ride her she is doing this less and less. With consistent work and riding she is a good little horse. She just needs a confident rider with the time and experience to get her there. Wether your looking for a little barrel project or your wanting to give your kids a horse that will teach them to become a better rider, this is her. We are going to continue to ride her and work with her while she’s with us. I know the potential she has and will not let her go for less then she’s worth. Open to possible trades.
