Just another little summer tip from your favorite doodle page!

It’s more common in big dogs but all breeds are at risk for *dog bloat*
It happens when a dog eats or drinks too quickly or when a dog exercises too much too soon after a meal. The dogs stomach twists, becomes distended & it can be FATAL if not addressed quickly.
It’s more common during summer because it’s not abnormal for your furbabies to drink more because of the heat
To avoid bloating, keep your furbabies kenneled/ or keep their activity level little to none directly after eating for at least an hour while they digest. Dont let them consume too much water at once; no matter how thirsty they are..slow and steady wins the race!
Signs of bloat in dogs are
an enlarged, hard belly
Excessive Drooling
Dry heaving
extreme restlessness & obvious pain when their belly is touched.
If you notice any/all of these get your furbaby to a vet immediately!
Stay cool, hydrated & boop your furbaby on the nose for me❤️🐾

What a beautiful Sunday to show off another doodle baby of mine❤️
Sunnie will be 3 in December! She comes from Bonnie and Hooeys last litter🫶🏽 these are just a few* of the updates I still get from her family all on their own🫶🏽
My familes make updates SO easy because more times than not, they send me pictures, vet updates and videos of them watching tv all on their own🤣🫶🏽( seriously a lot of my doodles LOVE tv; sunnie included🐾)

Happy 4th of July!
Just a few reminders to keep in mind on the 4th:
There’s a chemical in some fireworks that are toxic to dogs! I always make a good sweep of the yard before I let my babies out to potty when fireworks are being shot.
It also breaks my heart to see so many scared missing furbabies around this time because they get spooked from the fire works.
Unless you’re 100% certain they can’t escape your fence, I recommend leashing your fur baby in case they get spooked when going out to potty!
Stay safe & drink plenty of water; dogs and humans alike!

For all my people following dukes story; he’s got the first night with his new forever people under his belt and twas a good night indeed!
Most of the night was spent getting lovins from his family, playing with toys, and checking out his new brother Tom.
Thank you to the beautiful family taking a chance on him! He will pay you back 10x over with endless love🫶🏽🐾🤞🏽

Just a PSA from your favorite doodle page!🐾
Dogs are living creatures, NOT toys!
Learn to read your doggos body language; just because they allow something does NOT mean they like it!
Tail wags, sneezing while playing, jumping/running around are signs of enjoying playtime!
Tense eye contact, frigid body language, and a stiff tail are signs of being uncomfortable!
Dont set your furbaby up for failure...be kind to them and respect their boundaries! That is all🫶🏽🐾

Wow wow wow! “Sweet boy” now Duke, has already found his forever people!!! 😭 THANK YOU so much to the many beautiful people that reached out to me & shared my post. I’ll never thank yall enough for sharing any of my doodles post. The amount of eyes it reaches never ceases to amaze me!
I love expanding my doodle family! They are so so lucky to have this pretty boy, even if I am a little biased 🫶🏽🐾

💥Long read but worth it if you’re on the market for a golden doodle!💥
This handsome boys litter name is “Sweet Boy” & boy does he live up to it!
Due to no fault of his own, this baby is looking for his forever home again.
He was born December 2nd 2021
He is potty trained; kennel trained, does great on a leash & gets along with both cats and dogs!
Hes a little shy so I think the extra furbaby company makes him more brave!
Although with his first family he was an outside dog, since he’s been with me; he’s at his happiest inside!
As of right now he is not neutered but I’m in the process of making him a vet appt to get fixed. (this is non negotiable; he does not come with papers or breeding rights)
His surgery will be paid in full by me, and if you don’t want to deal with the healing part after surgery, I’ll also offer to keep him the week directly following his surgery.
He is unfortunately heart worm positive, but I’ve started him on medication for that.
When he’s finished his medication that is needed before his 2x a year Proheart shot, I’ll also be covering his first shot as well.
He will be staying with me the next 2-4 weeks while we hit some goals set up by his vet and I; if you’re on the market for a best friend message me for details!
His forever family will have to sign a contract, also non negotiable🫶🏽🐾
If you’re not comfortable sending me pictures and updates monthly, this is NOT the doodle for you🙂‍↔️🫶🏽

It’s summer time & that means the last 2 weeks at my house has been not fun🥲🐾😅
I’ve been getting all my personal doodles comfortable for the heat that is only going to get hotter!
Unless your doodles hair is well brushed, not tangled & you can separate their hair all the way down to the skin I promise you they would SO appreciate a cool, summer cut!
If you need help maintaining your doodles please pm me!
Even 5-10 minutes outside with thick curly doodle hair can easily cause your furbaby to overheat; do right by your best friend & keep them comfortable 🫶🏽🐾

Mollie is coming up on 4months old in a few weeks and she just got her first haircut!
As you can see I am NO professional ; I do one style of cut, short summer cuts😅 but I do have the tools and space to help you maintain your doodles hair if you need a fresh start & a little help; I’m just a message away!🐾🫶🏽
Also if you don’t have a doodle but you do have a dog, and they are too big or too much work to bathe, shoot me a message I love all furbabies 🐾🥰

A statement I hear often when people bring home their forever friend, is how bad they feel if they live in an apartment or home with no fenced in yard. “We don’t have the space for them and they aren’t getting the fun they deserve”
This statement is the furthest from the truth!
Mollie lives in an apartment. In addition to her walkies at the park, her mama lets her go crazy with her toys and she naps HARD when she’s done! Any furbaby has to adjust to their peoples new work schedule and routine. You chose them first, keep choosing them!❤️🐾🫶🏽
You have the time and space for your furbabies, you just have to go the extra mile to make it happen❤️

*I know this is not always the case, in some* cases rehoming your fur baby is for the best; just make sure you try really, REALLY hard first 🫶🏽🐾*

Last but certainly not least Cashew, now Marley🥰 has finally met her people!
They already got all the fun toys and a soft bed waiting for her arrival 🥹
& she has a human sister that can’t wait to become her best friend!

Miss Cashew is the LAST little doodle baby looking for her people!
Tomorrow she will be 10 weeks old.
She’s had her 1st and 2nd round of shots and dewormer & I’ll be sending her home with the food she’s eating so it’s easier on her belly when you decide to change her diet.
Of her siblings, she’s more on the calm side, loves cuddles, thinks she’s a lap dog 😁
My females usually range between 50-60 pounds full grown
Right now she’s a whooping 9 pounds 🫶🏽

Four babies went to their forever homes today!
This is the THIRD litter I have had a baby going to live out of state! SO COOL!!!!
Mr. Beans, now Hank🥰 is going to Louisiana to live with his new mom and dad & he even has some 4 legged siblings to play with🫶🏽
Tator, now Murphy🥰 will be staying close by in Dewitt with his new people! He can’t wait to steal the hearts of his human brother and sister (I was told he already has🫶🏽)
Biscuit, now Ringo🥰 is also close by in Dewitt! His human sister is picking him up & she has a doodle of her own that Ringo is going to become besties with!🫶🏽
Kiwis family decided to keep her litter name🥰 and she’s close by with her new people 🫶🏽( friends of ours actually so I’ll get to see this baby all the time!🥳)

Cashew is the last little baby looking for her people! She goes for her 8 week shots and dewormer on Wednesday & will be ready ready to go home with you by Friday 🫶🏽🐾
Although she loves to play, she’s happiest getting lovins in your lap and likes to cuddle up around your face the most🥰

Today’s doodle/puppy tip is about grooming!
While the puppies are in my care, I get them use to things like being brushed, having their feet messed with & clipping their nails. This helps to desensitize them before they go for their first grooming.
No professional groomer wants to groom a dog that won’t stand to be touched or gets aggressive when touched.. Do them a favor and forever continue to desensitize your fur baby! Mess with their ears, check in between their paw pads, get them comfortable with you sticking your hand in their mouth!
While they are puppies, their hair is very fine and silky so it doesn’t take much, I use the 1st brush pictured while they are in my care. As they age you’ll need a strong steel brush that gets all the way down to their skin; not something that just skims the top like their puppy brush;I now use the 2nd brush pictured!
If you don’t have the patience or time to put into your doodles’ coat, KEEP THEM CUT SHORT!!!
They are equally as beautiful and much more happy! If you don’t brush doodle hair, it will tangle, it will matt, and it will become very uncomfortable, painful, and HOT for your baby!
There is no way around doodle haircuts. From about 12-13 weeks on, it’s apart of a doodle life!
Imagine not brushing your hair for weeks.
Thats cruel and usual punishment; & if you’re a doodle parent of mine, & you need help maintaining your babies hair, private message me! I’ll be more than happy to help with no judgement! Doodle hair is no joke, I know from experience with owning my own 6 personal doodles.

Since my doodle babies go home in just a little over a week; I’m going to do a week of puppy tips! Today’s info is on crates/kennels for your baby!

I *highly* recommend crate training while they are young. Even if you plan to let your baby free roam when they get older ( I have a few baby that get that privilege 😅), at least you know they will tolerate the kennel if it’s ever needed! Contrary to popular belief, crate training is not cruel; it gives you peace of mind and keeps your furbaby safe from itself while you’re away.
Kennels should be a happy place for your puppy, give them treats only in their kennel, feed them in their kennel, let them decompress in their kennel with toys! They will love it in no time!
Although while you’re potty training their kennel should be on the smaller side (dogs don’t like to potty where they lay) once your baby is full grown & potty trained, you’ll need a big enough kennel for a water bowl, for them to stand all the way up without crouching, stretch, turn around and lay completely down legs outstretched.
Its cruel and unusual punishment to have a dog or any animal in too small of a crate; help them be comfortable until your return 🫶🏽🐾

The last 2 years on Black Friday, we stock up on kennels! originally 200$+ but we buy them for 75$ online!

🐾I have THREE golden doodle babies left!🐾

🐾Cashew is the only girl left; her chest is mostly white but that makes her dark ears stand out even more! she’s sassy and has her puppy dog eyes DOWN🫶🏽
🐾 Biscuit is one of my most vocal and playful boys. He has a big white mark on his head, under his chin/neck, all the way down his chest & the very tip of his tail & paws like a lot of his litter mates! If someone is dog piling and starting a play fight, biscuit is probably in the middle of it😁
🐾Mr beans is the darkest of his siblings; he has the tiniest white spot on his chest and top of his head. he’s also one of the most calm. He likes to play, but he’s a loner at heart, usually playing with a toy alone or sleeping somewhere (same Mr beans same)😴

💥They have already been lowered to their final reduced price & will be pet only💥
They come with 1st and 2nd shots and dewormer! These babies are a little over 6 weeks old. They will be ready to go home the weekend following Valentine’s Day🫶🏽🥰

Now that these sweet babies have their eyes open, (for the most part) just wanted to share some not fun puppy facts since most of what is shared is cuteness and perfection! 🐾potty training is not always linear! Although doodles are super smart & in my experience* super easy to potty train, that doesn’t mean accidents won’t happen! They aren’t bad furbabies, they are just learning! Consistency and forgiveness & Lysol wipes 😜 is key! 🐾 puppies in general love to chew on things. But in my experience* my doodles have indestructible teeth. We use one type of bone (filled femur bone) and one type of ball in my home. These are the only toys I’ve found they can’t destroy and eat. They aren’t bad furbabies, I just had to go through lots and LOTS of toys to find the right fit for them! 🐾all puppies are curious creatures, but doodles in my experience* are on a whole other level. They are NOSEY STINKERS. If my furbabies aren’t kenneled, I have to make sure any and everything on their level is out of their reach. Obstructions in dogs is real and can happen fast without you seeing a thing. They aren’t bad furbabies, I just have to go the extra mile to keep their bellies safe! & even then they somehow find a sock to snack on🥲 🐾My small puppies turn into big dogs. They would love the chance to grow old in your home with you. Message me if you’re interested in a forever family member; even if they pee on your rug and eat your favorite shoes every now and then 🫶🏽🐾
