We have been working on all sorts of things while also working. Did you know I work full time? Sometimes I think there is a misconception that people who share online don’t have lives outside of social media but my life that I share is just a snippet of what’s going on!

I’m still working on the garden expansion
We (read: mostly my husband but I assisted) also made venison sausage, pepperonis and Brats. We plan to turn more into ground this weekend and reorganize our freezer.

Puppy Linus has about 7 commands he knows well, he went on adventures to the farm and home stores and is walking well on a leash but needs more practice. Coming when called is a challenge.

I redid the entire inside of the coop adding 💩 boards and sand with room for storage. It took them a bit to figure out the ramp but they are doing fine now. Not pictured. I will try to do a story on that later.

Gearing up for the garden includes planting starts. We have a late and short season so I hope to start those this week.

The goaties are being goaties. 🤣 I need to share more on them soon.

I've finished my coop and will finish the run as soon as the weather warms a little. Then I'll be ready for some laying hens. I've got four nesting boxes in the coop. Questions: if I get baby chicks this spring, how long before they'll start laying and will they acclimate to their environment better than grown chicks coming in to a new and different environment? I'm thinking 6 or 8 chicks, is that too many with only 4 nesting boxes? And lastly, any recommendations for breed is welcome. For that matter all comments, suggestions, questions or recommendations are welcome! Southern Missouri here. Thanks in advance!🙂

We have some bachelors for consideration that have grown out to be very beautiful. I will you again these are really beautiful fellas . have these fancy Black, Blue and Splash wyandottes that want to be a part of someone's breeding program. Or, if you just want something easy on the eyes. 😍 These guys are GENTLE and have been held, hugged, handled and harassed by young children daily.
