***New Hampshire Conservation Officers are seeking the public’s help locating an overdue hiker.***

Emily Sotelo, 20, was dropped off this morning at Lafayette Place Campground in Franconia, with the intended hiking route of Mount Lafayette, Haystack and Flume.

She is now overdue and any hikers who may have encountered Sotelo along the intended route should notify NH State Police Dispatch at (603)271-1170.

Sotelo is described at 5’3, 115 lbs, brown hair, blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown jacket, and exercise pants.

WOW! Skylar’s incredible dog show journey continued today at the Rhode Island Boxer Club Specialties in Taunton, MA.

Again partnered with the talented Kelly Marquis, Skylar emerged victorious with ANOTHER amazing SPECIALTY WIN, going BOB/BISS against a field full of beautiful boxers and a crowded specials ring.

Thank you to Judge Kim Dye for the honor and for choosing our girl, to the RIBC for an awesome day and congratulations to all of the participants. Thank you to Kelly, for her expert presentation of our girl and to the “posse”, who always root for Sky.

Three Years ago this weekend, I ventured to the Cape to see what this dog show thing was all about. Already a boxer owner, I was amazed to see so many beautiful boxers being handled expertly in the ring. Approx an hour into the show, I knew I wanted a show dog.

It took a while to find her, but once we did, the last 18 months have been a blur. From the flight to Salt Lake to pick up pink girl aka Skylar, to becoming a champion, then a GCh, to winning her first BOB and Group 1, and then to becoming a Bronze Grand Champion.

Along the way there have been so many new experiences, I’ve met so many amazing people and have been fortunate to have the expert handling and guidance of Debbie Struff and team.

Today was another stop along her journey at the Rhode Island Boxer Club Specialty Show.

Sky reunited with Kelly Lyn Marquis
this weekend and came away victorious with an amazing SPECIALTY WIN , going BOB/BISS against a crowded field full of beautiful and top boxers!!

Thank you to Judge Rick Blanchard for choosing our girl, to the RIBC for hosting an amazing specialty today and congratulations to all of the winners.

After a hiatus from the show ring while we settled into our new home, GCHB Ch Ensign’s N Marburl’s Sky’s The Limit reached for the stars today, going Best of Breed back to back at the North Shore and Middlesex County Kennel Clubs.

Thank you to Judges Sherry Webster and Frank Kane for selecting our beautiful girl.

Skylar was superbly handled by Lorrie Richer-Moreira.

Sky is owned by myself, Heather Manning and Annette R Clark and is sired by GCH Marburl’s Brazos of Shadigee SOM out of Ch. Ensign’s Impression DOM.

Excited to share that our girl Skylar has reached yet another milestone in her short career. Saturday at the Rockland County Kennel Club, Sky went Best Of Opposite to complete her Bronze Grand Championship!! Thanks to Mr Ed Hall for finding our girl in a crowded specials ring.

Skylar is now known as GCHB Ensign's N Marburl's Sky's The Limit.

This pretty little girl has taken us on an amazing ride, an incredible journey that would not be possible without the amazing trio of Debbie Struff Karen Quagliana and Erin Sposito.

Skylar is co-owned by myself, Heather Manning and Annette R Clark.

We couldn't be more excited and proud of our beautiful girl and can’t wait for the next part of our adventure.

After several weeks of vacation, Skylar was reunited with Team Struff, with Debbie Struff leading her to victory and Karen Quagliana sprinkling her “special sauce” on Sky so she sparkled in the ring.

Special thanks to Judge Andrew Ritter for the breed selection and for all of the superb club efforts with the storm approaching.

And just like that, Skylar becomes a Grand Champion.

On Friday at the Kenilworth KC in W. Springfield, Ch. Ensign’s N Marburl’s Sky’s the Limit traded up to become a GCH by going SB in a lovely field of boxers. (Pic is from her win to become a Ch)

Our path to this moment started 6+ years ago when we first adopted a boxer pet from Debbie Struff telling her at the time I was curious about dog shows. As Debbie does, she invited this dog show wannabe to check out a few shows and the hook was set. Fast forward to her help in leading us to Annette R Clark
and Ensign Boxers, who trusted us with pink girl aka Skylar, sired by GCH Marburl’s Brazos of Shadigee SOM out of Ch. Ensign’s Impression DOM.

So many people to thank along the way. First and foremost, thanks to my amazing better half for patience and support throughout.

Thank you all of the judges who pointed to her and to Judge Sandra Walker for the last 2 points.

Thank you to Erin Sposito and Debbie for doing an amazing job mastering and bringing out the best in Sky and to Karen Quagliana for allowing Sky to sparkle. Thank you to Kelly Marquis for her expertise and superb handling on the road to her GCH and to Lorrie Moreira for stepping in to handle her in The Breed Ring today.

On a rainy Friday, at the Hockamock KC in Wrentham , Ch. Ensign’s N Marburl’s Sky’s the Limit continued her blazing pace towards her Grand Championship by going BOS for a 4 Point Major!!

After becoming a Champion in late May, Sky is only points away from becoming a Grand Champion.

On a steamy Saturday at the Ladies Dog Show in Wrentham, Ch. Ensign’s N Marburl’s Sky’s the Limit continued her torrid pace towards her Grand Championship by going Select Bitch for a 4 Point Major!! I’m doing so, Sky has captured her third major in her last five shows.

Skylar finished in grand fashion, winning her third 5 point major to complete the Championship mission. Thanks to all of the judges who have pointed her way, to Team Debbie Struff for their hard work and to Skylar's fan club and posse.

What a great couple days!!!

Saturday at the Middlesex Boxer Club Specialties, Ch. Ensign's N Marburl's Sky's The Limit aka “Skylar” earned back to back Best of Opposites under Judges Bonnie Linell-Clarke and Minna-Lisa Koltes for two five point majors towards her GCH.

Friday at the Rhode Island Boxer Club Specialty, Skylar beat a field of nearly 30 beautiful bi***es to go WB/BOW! Thank you to Judge Mrs. Susan Carr for pointing to our girl.

Skylar is now known as Ch. Ensign's N Marburl's Sky's The Limit, sired by GCH Brazo's of Shadigee out of Ch. Ensigns Impression.

Skylar is co-owned by myself, Heather Manning, and Annette Clark. Heather and I have had 4 boxers but Skylar is our first show dog and Champion. Thank you to Annette Clark and Lori McClain Ferguson for trusting us with this special bitch.

The road to her Championship, would not have been possible without the superb handling and management of Debbie Struff and Erin Sposito and to Karen Quagliana for all of the prep work to allow this girl to really sparkle in the ring.
