How to teach your dog what the clicker means !! This is a few steps I take to get the dogs to start understsnding what the clicker is.
For anyone who doesnt want to purchase a clicker you can also mark verbally YES and deliver your dog a treat. Having a marker system is so important!
Its extremely important for our dogs to understsnd when they are doing something we like so we can teach them. We also want to have a word to mark behaviors we dont like.
Like and share with all your dog friends 💜💜💜💜
The eye contact engagement game !!!

Long video of Gracie and I at The Home Depot
Geacie struggles with barking and being vocal about all kinds of things. She reacts at people and dogs and people she knows. She is definitely an anxious girl, here I am working her around people and different distractions to the a h her when she is uncomfortable find comfort in checking in with me. I advocate for her by having us away from all the people at a healthy distance, I don’t allow others to come into her space and I take full control of the situation.
As Gracie checks in with me I am reward her but I am also giving her breaks to explode off of the platform she is on to get a reward and take a mental breather from all that is happening around her. If your dog struggles take things slow with them start by building engagement in your home first and where the dog is most comfortable and build from there. 💜💜
Let me know if you have any questions, sound on so you guys can hear what’s going on
Do you ever stop on a walk and practice the art of doing nothing ?
Most of our dogs are always wanting to do something
Pull over here
Sniff this
Who’s that
Pee here
Etc..
On a walk I encourage you to stop for a few minutes, set a timer and just hang out with your dog. During this exercise your dog has the length of the leash they can’t put any tension on it they also can’t pee on things, jump on you etc
By using your leash you can address those behaviors.
Stand or sit with your dog until the timer goes off once it does wait another few seconds before moving.. and continue on with your walk. The more you practice this the better your dog will get at just hanging out.
Let me know if you have any questions
And share this with all your friends and family with crazy dogs 🤪🫶
I can’t with how adorable this guy is !! I had a great session with this cutie and his amazing owner !
In this video we were working on the come command ! He was really enjoying it haha 💜💜
Hoss killing it out here !! Hoss is a young dog who lacks
Confidence, if you can believe it last week she was terrified of the tunnel and the table all of it !!! So seeing her breeze through this no problem is a great accomplishment for her!!
The video might be a little boring but I was working on her going thru the course in all kinds of different ways, to change up the picture for her and work on new skills each time we did it. Dogs figure things out in patterns so by me switching it up all the time it helps
Keep her on her toes 💜💜
You can try this with your dog find random things in your home and make your own agility course !!
Going on a walk with a dog isn’t just walking for me. I practice what my dogs know and also incorporate some commands I know they will struggle with in a way that's not too challenging but beneficial to work through. If your dog struggles with being overexcited on a walk, try incorporating a 10-second down stay or a 10-second place session if your dog knows these commands. If your dog doesn't know them yet, just stand still and give your dog the length of the leash - that’s it. See how they do. If they struggle to sit still or act out, more work on duration and impulse control would be super beneficial. #dogtrainingisfun #dogtrainingadvice #dogslife #doglove #petsoffacebook
This is just one way to teach your dog how to down
First you need for this specific exercise
Your dog on a leash
Kibble or your dogs favorite treat
Watch this video and give it a try with your dog if they don’t know down. 💜
Let me know if it helped
Let's talk about the importance of teaching your pup the "come" command. 😁
Imagine this: you're out at the park and suddenly your dog spot a squirrel and take off running. What do you do? This is where the "come" command comes into play! By teaching your dog to come to you on command, you can prevent them from running off into potentially dangerous situations.
But here's the thing - dogs don't automatically know that the "come" command applies everywhere, not just at home. That's why it's super important to practice this command in different environments. It's like giving your dog a fun challenge to conquer! By practicing in new places, you're helping your pup understand that the rules apply no matter where they are.
Consistency is key when it comes to training, so make sure to keep things fun and engaging for your dog. Use whatever motivates your dog to reward them for coming to you. And don't forget to switch up the locations to keep things interesting and educational.
So, next time you're out and about with your pup, remember to reinforce the "come" command and turn it into a fun game that strengthens your bond and keeps your dog safe in any situation. Happy training!
Luna is working on the place command in this video with minimal distractions 💜

Progress update !
Dally and his amazing owner have been killing it working on engagement and structuring things in her home to help with building a better healthier relationship.
Dally struggles with going after cars and reacting at dogs and certain triggers in his environment.
We are seeing big progress from this guy, we are working on building his confidence and him having more trust in his mom to handle these scenarios instead of him!
Give Dally and his owner some love for working hard! 💜
A cool hand feeding exercise anyone can try !! 🐶
In this video I have Tizzy who is learning how to be relaxed in the home. For this training session I put her in a down which is an implied stay, and I went about cleaning up while I fed her dinner, I rewarded her for staying in the down, I showed her even if I pet her, walk away from her or loud noises happen you just hang out girl.
During this session we worked on:
Duration
Impulse control
The dog being out of my way
Being calm in the home
You can do this exercise in so many ways
Place command
Down stay
Tethering the dog to something heavy and having them in no obedience command which is better ! And reward calm behavior
If you enjoy this video I can make others showing this exercise in different ways let me know down ⬇️ in the commments 💜
Like and share these cuties !! 👍❤️
Beautiful MJ finished up her program with us on Friday!
When I first met MJ in the streets spinning and barking like a dog tornado I couldn’t wait to help her owners.
Mj has made big progress in a short period of time but the training doesn’t stop for her! Mj owner is amazing and super committed to working with her awesome dog and building this better connection together!
I’m so happy I could help get them started on the right track and I will be here for support for as long as they need me and longer 😊
Give MJ and her awesome owner some LOVE ❤️❤️❤️
