I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted and my apologies for that.

So excited to post that we are $57 away from being able to sponsor the adoption fees for these 7 beautiful senior labs!!

Lab Rescue LRCP had an amazing donor sponsor half of the adoption fees for all senior dogs so it only makes sense we take care of the other half!

Im going to be sending what we have collected already to the rescue today. We have until Easter to get the last $57!

A few people have reached out to me telling me they have donations for me to pick up today. Once I grab those we will be posting the next adoption fees that will be sponsored. Here is a little sneak peek of the rescue we will be helping next. Please check out their site and look at the link for senior dogs. They have had a very generous donor pay for half of the adoption fees for all the senior dogs they have. My goal is to try to cover the other half for as many labs as possible! I’ll be posting the goal update this afternoon

We are already building the fund back up!
With Cash, Lane and Solara finding amazing adopters and sweet Toby in a foster-to-adopt home, we are looking for our next senior to sponsor
Couple of things I want to post about
1. I reach out to shelters and rescues with senior pups to verify we can sponsor their fees before posting. This is to get the correct fee and it also lets the volunteers know we will be sharing the pup
2. Because the pups get more attention when we share, the amount of inquiries increases. So the volunteers may take a little bit longer to process any adoption applications

Don’t let this discourage you from adopting. And please know for every pup we share, there are hundreds more just like them out there needing a home.

Blown away by you all!!
Yesterday’s donations came pouring in and that’s allowing us to sponsor the adoption fee for this beautiful senior girl.
Meet Miss Solara! She’s with the group Dawgs Fight Back and is looking for a home to live out the rest of her life.
Her adoption fee is $350 and it is getting paid as we speak!

If you cannot donate at this time, sharing our mission is just as helpful!

To give some insights as to how I see this fund working….
I have reached out to many rescue groups and shelters. The location isn’t important to me, the goal is to help as many senior dogs as possible.
Once I get the adoption fees on specific dogs, I will be posting their bios. Once the adoption fee goal has been met, the money will be immediately transferred to the shelter or rescue.

Also, if anybody knows of a senior dog that could benefit from this fund, please tag me or send an email to [email protected]

UPDATE!!!! Guess who got adopted!!! My heart is happy and I know my Old Man is thrilled!! (Adoption photo added to this post) Thank you all so much!! ❤️🐾❤️🐾

Ok I haven’t even had time to set up the fundraising link but so many people have already sent enough money for us to sponsor our very first adoption fee! And it’s a two-fer 🐾🐾 CASH AND LANE!

“These two beauties are Cash and Lane. You might have seen them on the news: they were left at the Quincy Animal Shelter - MA about a week ago. They are bonded and need to be adopted together. Cash (the larger of the two) is around 11 years old while Lane is a few years younger. They both look and act younger than their ages! They are very chill and affectionate dogs who love to be petted. They are neutered and medically in good health with the exceptions that Cash needs a dental and grooming appointment; Lane also needs a dental and 2 nodules/lick granulomas addressed. We will have a veterinarian assess those conditions and they will be treated (and paid for by the shelter) before we finalize the adoptions, however we would love to place them sooner rather than later in a loving foster to adopt home. Cash and Lane do like other dogs, but given their ages, the other dog would need to be calm and good with dogs as well. They have lived with cats/kittens, and have been well behaved around well behaved children. Please contact [email protected] to set up time to meet them or come down to adoptions hours on Saturdays 10-2 to speak to an Adoption Representative.”
