Please make sure you are working with a legitimate breeder! They will not care to give you references, etc. scammers are everywhere!

This individual is now impersonating us in groups all over Facebook. She has stolen our logo and banner image and is pretending to be us via a personal page. She has also stolen these puppy images from Google and is pretending that she has them for rehoming.

I am doing everything possible to get her page shut down but I also want to share this to bring awareness. Scammers are out in full force trying to take advantage of families looking to bring home a new furbaby. This person and others like her is disgusting.

We want to bring awareness to the fact that finding a reputable breeder for your next furry companion, or rescuing from a shelter or rescue organization, is the only way to avoid being scammed or taken advantage of.

We are also Scam Free Certified by TellTail. My identity has been verified and we pay an annual fee to keep this certification. It is important to us that you feel secure and comfortable with us when you decide to partner with us for your next baby.

If you would like to help me shut her down, please report her! Link to her page is in the comments.

I updated today because my entire feed is ads. After I did this, I see everyone again. I’m not sure how it works, but it did!
To regain friends in your news feed and get rid of ads: hold your finger anywhere in this post and click ′copy’. Go to your page where it says ‘What's on your mind?’. Tap your finger anywhere in the blank field and click paste. This upgrades the system somehow.
It's sad we have to keep doing this to kill the ads and see our friends.
The Ads are getting ridiculous!
I do this every time i see this.

*** copied from a fellow breeder***

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts lately about the cost for a breeder when breeding a litter of French Bulldogs. The costs are insane when things are done right, but I’m not sure these posts or the list of expenses resonate with puppy buyers. The expenses aren’t theirs and breeders choose to breed their dogs. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do have some thoughts on French Bulldog puppies and what buyers should expect to pay for them. I am talking about this solely from a pet buyer’s perspective. If breeding is your angle, you should be looking at this differently.

Every purebred dog is bred with a purpose or for a job. The French Bulldog has only ever been bred to be a companion animal. They are meant to be your best friend. Every French Bulldog I have ever known has taken their job very seriously. They want to be with their humans ALL. THE. TIME. They don’t just want to be in the same general vicinity, but in your lap, in your bed, they would get under your skin if they could manage it. 🤣 They’re living their purpose. Puppy buyers need to realize their new best friend is going to be in their business and in their space every day for as long as they’re around. 🤣

It’s extremely important that you find a breeder who has health and temperament as top priorities in their breeding program. I very much consider structure to be part of health as a poorly structured French Bulldog will often times have back/hip/neck issues at some point in life.

The French Bulldog has an average life expectancy of 10-12 years. You want your best friend to live every minute of that time as a happy, healthy family member. You want them to meet you at the door every day when you get home. You want them to love your babies. You want them to run, play, wrestle and move without pain. You want them to make you laugh constantly because they’re clowns and so dang funny. You want them to voice strong opinions and think they’re in charge, because they do. You want to hear their snorting and snuffling because there’s nothing cuter. You want them to look at you with those eyes! 😍❤️

Now, how much is that worth to you? I know people who spend $6-$7 a day on coffee. What about monthly expenses for subscription services like streaming music and tv or exercise plans. How about eating out? Energy drinks? Smoking? Drinking? The list goes on and on. We spend money like crazy on the things that bring us happiness, comfort, quiet our anxiety, etc. A French Bulldog does all of those things!!

A well bred French Bulldog puppy will cost the average pet buyer between $3500-$5500. Some are less, some are more. Let’s just say your precious pup only lives 9 years. That’s 3,285 days. You will spend between $1.37-$1.67 a day for the privilege of having that wonderful member of your family(based on the low and high end of average pet prices). I’m not sure you could ever actually put a price tag on it, but I just did the math for you.

Breeders work really hard. It’s a job and people make money in exchange for doing their job. I can honestly tell you though, breeders are motivated by so much more than money. We all have a strange thing in common where we torture ourselves with exhaustion and anxiety while we’re planning our next perfect litter.

Instead of looking for a cheap puppy, look for a breeder who has clearly defined priorities. Look for a breeder who is willing to answer questions and provide information. Look for a breeder who is willing to give references. You want your breeder to answer questions when your pup is five and has an ear infection! That’s what good breeders do! You’re not buying a coffee. You’re buying a family member and you want them to be happy, healthy and an excellent fit for your family. You can’t put a price on that!

One of the things that prompted this post is the fact that a young man offered me $1500 for sweet Ralphie here saying that was his maximum budget. If I could get a pup just like Ralphie for $1500 I can’t tell you how many and how fast I would be buying them. 🤣

Ok friends we have a lot of friends in upper east tn, Elizabethton in particular that are in a terrible mess! There are still over 100 people missing in that small town. We are heading over there tomorrow with a grill, and 50 lb of burger buns and condiments! We want to feed the exhausted first responders. At this moment many of the have been awake for 40 hours!
We have to go self contained to cook as they do not have water or power. I would like to feed more but there are limits to the budget! I have more ground beef!
If you would like to help send donations to my venmo jodie-moore-63 last 4 of the phone number 1874 put in the what is this for line....elizabethton
I do not have internet at the farm because of this disaster so I will check in the morning and use every penny to feed them! Knoxville was spared the worst of this let's help our neighbors!

POTENTIAL OWNER: How much is the puppy?
BREEDER: $4,000
POTENTIAL OWNER: What?? It's way too expensive!!
BREEDER: What do you think would be a good price?
POTENTIAL OWNER: No more than $500. You breeders are so over priced.
BREEDER: I am sorry you see it this way, why don't you try it yourself?
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I've never done it!
BREEDER: For FREE I can teach you how to do it, and in addition you will have the knowledge to do it again.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Perfect, thank you!
BREEDER: To start you will need a female(average cost $4,000 and up). Also a male(average cost $4,000 and up) or semen (average $3,000 and up). You will need to do genetic & health testing on them, averages about $1,500 per dog. Raise and provide daily care, feeding & grooming for 2 years at an average of $600 per month each)
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have that much money...

BREEDER: For $500 you can raise a litter for me and then keep one of the puppies. Obviously, you also have to pay the cost of whelping & care.
POTENTIAL OWNER: I can do that.
BREEDER: OK so I have a female due to whelp in 2 weeks. You will need to be available 24/7 around the clock for at least 8 weeks to help with delivery and care. Possibly tube or bottle feed puppies every 2-3 hours if the mom is low on milk the first couple weeks.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Eight weeks?? it's way too much time for me! I have to work.
BREEDER: You will also need the reproductive vet to do xrays($200-$500), ultrasound $250, possibly reverse progesterone testing($75-$250) & a C-section($1000-$5000) and initial vet care on pups until old enough to be placed. Pups vets exams and two sets of vaccines ($250 each assuming all puppies are healthy).
Have on hand a scale, thermometer, latex gloves, sanitizer, absorbent tissues, scissors, hemostats, heating pad, whelping box, blankets, cleaning supplies, appropriate food with supplements for mothers, formula, medications & hand feeding supplies in case of emergency....
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have all these things!
BREEDER: For $4000 you can buy them.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Ummm .... You know, I think it might be better if I just buy a puppy.
BREEDER: Wise decision.

For us breeders there are no vacations or holidays, while you go to visit with family & friends we are home at our dogs side caring for them. It is a no breaks commitment.

THIS IS THE REALITY of a GOOD BREEDER!!

When you choose a professional, you don't only pay for the puppy but also: Tools, knowledge, experience, love, time, sacrifices, etc.

Borrowed - Copied & Pasted feel free to do the same to spread the word!
