Clover and Doc visited the vet yesterday (after rolling in pig p**p as you can see) and we have a new little sweet girl, Abbi (named by Grayson ) clover weighed in at a little over 15lb while doc was a whopping 20 and some change!!

As the temps drop and snomageddon rushes in, please remember if you see a Husky, Great Pyrenees, Aussie, or some other thick coated, hard-headed, dog breed outside, just shake your head, and keep on rolling by. No need to dial 9-1-1, call a rescue, chase the dog down and try to take it to a warm place, or take pictures and blast the exasperated owners on social media.
This is the weather some dogs dream of ALL 👏🏾 YEAR 👏🏾 LONG 👏🏾. I promise you their owners have coaxed, yelled, and tried to bribe these dogs in, all while their dogs stare blankly at them like they’ve suddenly gone deaf. He’s fine. She’s fine. They’re all fine.

Currently looking for a pet homes for Yona, and pet or experienced breeder home for Moose. Yona is AKC/ASDR and moose is ASDR registrable. Since we are no longer breeding, our concentration is more on a farm and livestock. We will be keeping our “pet” Aussies- Zeus, Asher and Delta. Yes Yona and Moose are both close to our hearts, they are suited better with more attention.

Both are extremely sweet, Yona wants attention all the time, she’s medium drive and energy and has an off switch. She has not been on leash but loves to run and play in a fenced area.

Moose is in full on tween puppy stage. He has a ton of energy currently. Needs basic manner training. He is gorgeous and will be on the large side of standard. He’s from Yona and Zeus so his personality will be perfect once he reaches maturity.

Serious inquiries only! Moose will only have breeding rights if going to an experienced known breeder. While Yona still was breeding for us, I’d like her to retire since she’s getting older- her litter size has never changed (5-6) she bounces back quickly but it’s time.

Twice Born Aussies

We are new to breeding Australian Shepherds, but not to the breed. My husband and I both grew up with Aussies of our own. While raising children we had several pets, but my husband longed for another Australian Shepherd.

Last year I searched until I felt I found the perfect match for him. Zeus came into our lives and my husband Daniel fell in love. Zeus is our current sire. He is so loving and sweet, definitely medium to high drive. He loves to play ball, belly rubs and go on walks. He is certainly a daddys boy! He is so good with everyone he meets! Zeus is a blue merle ASDR registered.

We were so impressed by Zeus we started searching for a female, we still had no intentions of breeding. We found Logan also through a facebook group. Logan is our absolute sweetheart. She listens well, she is a Velcro dog, loves to run, she loves playing fetch and just wants to be near us at all times, she also can catch mice like nobody's business, she is low drive. Logan is a black tri, ASDR/AKC registered.

After a lot of studying and consideration we decided we wanted to enter this crazy breeding world. We had our first litter in September of 2019. 9 beautiful healthy babies! Through Facebook we found Zeus’s original breeder and Ric, that owns Shackle Island Aussies, has been a great mentor to us!
