Monday funday with new kid: Kona! Kona is a Lagotto Romagnolo, aka an Italian water dog and while I didn't get any good photos of him in the water, he was loving camp by the creek! This easy going boy kicked into camp mode swimmingly and fit right in with help from his best friend Bean! We're so excited for the adventures to come. 🐾🤍💦

Last Thursday was a sad one, as we said see ya later to Paris on her last day with Queen City Dog Camp. Watching her mature from a wild adolescent into a beautifully natured dog has been such a wonderful thing to witness. Thanks for all the smiles and snuggles sweet Ris; we will miss playing with you in the woods dearly! 🤍🐾👑

Biggest shout-out to the biggest stinker at camp: my personal dog Summer. This week she has been a shining star... She checks in with me often, recognizes and avoids situations where she may get overstimulated or triggered, and comes when she's called. We have come a long way from the young pup who used to run off for half an hour at a time chasing after whatever scents her nose acquired. I really could not be prouder of my girl and all of the consistent work we've put in together so that we can live our best lives together. She is a rock star who she is not afraid to show it and I love her endlessly for it. Thank you for being my heart and soul Summer the Dog. 💖🐾✨
