This Sunday at the Anaheim Hills Petco we will be having an adoption event from 10am-5pm ❤️🎄🐈‍⬛

Come meet Bluey, Flounder, Papi, Chiquita, bonded brothers Piglet & Eeyore, and many more.

All of our cats and kittens come fully vetted (spayed/neutured, micro-chipped, and vaccinated) so they are ready to go home with you same day ☃️

We will also have information and resources on how you can foster, volunteer, and donate so be sure to stop by as we appreciate everyone who comes to visit us at our events.

Today is Giving Tuesday and we are so grateful for the continued love and support from our One Love Community in order to make what we do possible🐾❤️

Here are some ways you can continue supporting our mission:

1) Donate to help us raise enough money for our mobile clinic. This will allow us to better serve the local community with more accessible and affordable spay/neuter options.

2) Vote for us on Giving Circle. Voting is completely free and gets us one step closer to winning grant money that directly funds our animal care.

3) Donate directly to us through our Amazon wishlist. This makes it easy for you to decide what it is you want your donation to go directly towards.

As many of you already know, One Love helps all kinds of domestic animals and that variety is what we think makes us special. While we love animals of all species, sizes, shapes and colors, cats have always been our bread and butter. That is not because we like cats more than other animals (shh don't tell the cats that), it's because the need for cat rescue is the greatest in our Southern California community.

Because cats are allowed to be free roaming and there simply aren't enough affordable and timely options for spay/neuter for the public who want to help them, cats end up living, reproducing and inevitably suffering in the streets. It is estimated that there are over 3 million unowned community cats in Southern California.

While we are continuing our efforts to rescue as many of these kitties as we can and get them off the streets and into loving homes, we are always working on ways to improve our operation and grow our impact in our community. That's where our new mobile clinic idea comes in. We would like to start a low cost, mobile spay and neuter clinic to support the efforts of other rescues, TNR groups and cat advocates in our area as we all work together to help our community kitties.

We have a business plan and a wonderful team ready to move on making this project a reality, we just need the space! Here is a sneak peek at the layout and plan for the mobile truck we are hoping to purchase to start this new project.

We expect the truck to cost around $250k with the interior build out so we can't do this without your support! We are hoping to raise at least $25k by January to make the down payment.

Donations through the my givingcircle platform count as extra votes and funds raised through that platform will also be used towards the clinic. Votes can be placed once a week through the end of the year.

We are so excited to come support our favorite groomer at their new pet spa's soft opening this weekend! .spaw

They are so thorough and caring with the animals, offering the absolute best service you could ask for. They have helped us with grooming our rescue animals on a number of occasions and we couldn't speak more highly of them, so let's show them some love by coming to visit their brand new location on Sunday 11/10/24 for their soft opening.

Of course One Love will be there with cats and kittens for adoption but there will be some other vendors present as well and of course opportunities to meet your new favorite groomers! Hope to see you there!

This handsome boy ready for his forever home is Andy. He came in as a stray and was very nervous with the transition to indoor life initially. With some gentle reassurance and patience from his amazing foster mom, he has blossomed into the most perfect, affectionate and incredible cat ready for a forever family of his very own.

He would do best in a calm, consistent home where he can can adjust at his own pace. He does currently live with other cats and dogs and would love to have a pet friend long term as long as he is given his space and time to adjust to the new setting initially.

His daily routine includes lots of cozy naps and a strong preference for treats and affection over food. In fact, he loves treats so much that he’ll gently reach his paw towards the treat container when he's ready for one! He’s tidy and well-mannered, reliably using his litter box and tolerating grooming and housecleaning with grace.

Andy is an incredibly sweet, sensitive boy who needs a family that will be gentle and patient with his initial shyness. He might hide at first, but with the same slow, steady attention that has brought out his affectionate side in his foster home, he’ll soon be the most loyal, loving companion you could ask for.

Will you be the forever family Andy has been searching for? Please say yes!

Sanctuary bird Scuttles, the blue and gold macaw, had a great time repping One Love at a Halloween Trunk or Treat event last week. He was definitely the biggest hit of our pirate ship themed trunk decorations.

Scuttles loves getting out and meeting new people at events like this and telling them all about all the other kinds of animals One Love helps besides just cats. He really loves teaching people about parrots and breaking some of the myths people hear about them. He even met someone with a perfect feather tattoo for him to stand on!

This beautiful and incredibly photogenic girl is Bella. She is an easygoing, affectionate, relaxed, gentle and mellow girl still looking for her forever family. She has a really unique tortie coat. She's so perfect, how has she not been swooped up yet?

All of these wonderful kitties have been with One Love for over a year waiting for a forever family to call their very own. Each of them are wonderful, affectionate cats who seem to be getting over looked for no fault of their own.

Thanks to a generous donor covering the adoption costs for these kitties in hopes of finding them permanent placements, adoption fees will be waived for any cat that has been with One Love for over one year for any permanent adoptions that take place between now and the end of September 2024. Adoption applications and home checks will still be required. Visit our website to submit an app.

Pictured here we have Mary, Sheldon, Yukon, Apricot, Anastasia, Virgo, Gemini, Jet, Anise, and Ginny who are all available for this program.

We couldn't post pictures of all that qualify, but if you see one on our site that you are interested in, reach out and we will let you know if they are eligible for the fee waiver.
