Keep those fur babies safe! 🐾🩵

My friend Tiffanys Frenchies posted this awhile back, but it's really good info, so I wanted to share!

Things you should ✨ALWAYS ✨have on hand if you own a frenchie.

If your dog is overheating more then liking it has a build up of phlegm in their throat.

1️⃣ Sq**rt a few shots of lemon juice down the dogs throat.
This helps to dissolve the phlegm and open up their airway.
(If the dog is in full shock you can rub the lemon juice on their gums as well to bring the dogs sugar up.)

2️⃣ Pedialyte (Plain) (for dehydration) The Colder the better! It will bring down the dogs core temperature while hydrating it.
If you don't have that, cold water or ice cubes work.

3️⃣ Rubbing alcohol applied to the dogs belly, arm pits, & pads. You can put it all over the dogs body and cover it with a damp towel.

🤔Why you ask?🤔

Because rubbing alcohol pulls heat out of the muscle, if you cover them with a damp towel as well, this helps it work faster and keeps it from evaporating. ((Typically you'd want the 91% but you can use the 70% as well))
As humans perspire moisture on our skin evaporates and keep us cool. 🚫DOGS DO NOT SWEAT🚫 so this technique does this for them.

⭐⭐Do not EVER submerge the dog in cold water, as extreme temperature changes WILL send them into shock - Gradually cooling body temperature is absolutely necessary ⭐⭐

Make sure to keep lots of water around to keep the dogs hydrated while outside.

Edit: Please note before you message me I have heard every sob story-still these are not free! If you do not know how expensive this breed is then you should do your research before wasting my time! This is not my 1st time selling Frenchies! I know their worth! I know how much blood, $, sweat and tears I have spent on our program!

We started breeding 5 years ago. We love them so much, but they are a full time job along with our other jobs. We have 3 boys that need us. With breeding we can never take a vacation as a family and rarely go to dinner or anywhere as a family, so we are going to change gears and focus on our family. Pretty sure the last time we went to dinner as a family was September for my middle child's 13th birthday!

Darrell and I have decided we need to focus on our family, so unfortunitely that means a smaller pack! We will be taking a break from breeding and might not breed again. Take a look at these beauties looking for a new
