Yesterday, Kana's second (and last) litter turned 3! Look at how these pups have grown!

It is with a heavy heart that we lost our big boy Kupu at 7 1/4 years (almost to the day). This morning he was lethargic and passed by the afternoon. Necropsy showed he had a small (impalpable) tumor on his spleen that somehow ruptured. His passing was probably as painless as we could have asked for from something so unexpected and sudden. (especially because we treated with pain meds after thinking he looked stiff and sore). He was much loved and will be sorely missed.
