Dottie has had her litter. She had 7 kittens with 5 surviving. One was born with spina bifida and died shortly after birth. The other sadly was born healthy and during the other births he was smothered by momma by accident. It’s sad because we want to give them privacy and comfort but then accidents happen that could be prevented. Rescue is hard.
All five babies are doing great. We have one ginger and white one grey and black tabby. One grey black and white tabby one calico and our little runt a tabico.
We already have homes for the tabico and calico who will be going together when the time comes! They should be ready to go home mid February if all goes well.
Mom is very tired - it was a long 7.5 hrs of labor. Wolfe the dad has met His brood and was very curious. Wolfe is very neutered now. So this is it for both Dottie and Wolfe! At least they were not out in the elements this time of year having kittens as it’s typically a death sentence.

Pardon the garage. This is where we held her before her bath…. No contaminating the other animals little creamsicle kitty.
Look at this cutie!!! If you would like an application for blossom let us know! She is a small dog should not get over 20 pounds she will be short with a stockier build. Think corgi mixed in with some other stuff.
Mystery is back with her colony…. This is a tricky situation at this colony. The colony is so dependent on residents for food and even use thier window wells and cat boxes for shelter but it just attracts more cats. It’s great to feed colony cats but ONLY when there is an active mission to help end the cycle. I’m not getting the cooperation I need from many of the residents. This is just Step one in the solution.
Meet the family! Momma is getting spayed and will be released back to her colony but these guys right here will make a great addition to any family!!!
Mystery is on her way to be fully vetted and spayed. Then she goes back to her colony. Her babies stay with me to rehab/socialize and be placed in loving homes.
Three day old lil one. Full tummy and ready for a nap.
Today was the perfect day for some local trapping of a feral momma. We got her two kittens and tomorrow we will see about trapping daddy cat too. Momma is scared and has the typical tortie attitude problem but I think she can be socialized pretty quickly. We have already been able to touch her.
Puppies in the puppy potty at the airport. We have a layover - they had to go potty and play. We accidentally left the toys in our cottage so this is one of our volunteers socks.
