***Orange girl found her forever home!***
Little Orange is a super sweet baby girl who loves belly rubs. She loves exploring and watching the big dogs play. She loves being held and petted on by her people's and would make any family a super nice dawgy! She's good around children and loves laying on soft furniture when inside, but throw her a ball and watch her fun zoomy's outside! She has a nice on/off switch and would be able to go in about any direction her new owners point her towards.

Yellow girl has found her new home!

This girl is very sweet with an over the top people loving personality like her mom! She is one of those pups who tags along close by, eager to please and could sit in your lap for hours or trudge around outside for hours too! Very nice on/off switch! She is going to look like her mom.
Miss Yellow has been using the dog door for weeks now, to potty outside. She's very good about automatic sits and will come flying from anywhere at the recall sound.
She is microchipped and ready to go home now! Vaccines are included as well as a regimented deworming schedule.

This guy is going to be a darker golden color like his sire. He seems to be pretty even keeled and eager to please . He has a nice off switch inside and when being held, but knows how to turn it up ten notches when it's play time. He is Microchipped and ready to find out who his new family is!

Pups turned 9 weeks old on Tuesday! Time flies when your having fun I guess!

I can't believe Lil' Boy Blue is still available!
He has nice drive, good attention and excellent, sturdy build! He is solid colored and should be a deep red/gold as an adult. He turned 9 weeks old yesterday!!
He would settle in great with any family situation: hunting, performance, therapy or home life!

Basic Cardiac is completed on Ricky. Normal results per the cardiologist!
Results are viewable on the OFA database. So far, preliminary Hips and Elbows shows no signs of dysplasia and his eyes are UTD and normal. We are setting his appointment for his official and final hip and elbow exam (February) directly after he turns 24 months of age.
Ricky is a major lover, he gets along with any and all dogs and loves attention from anyone. He works incredibly well with one-on-one training. He is currently training for Rally, but we still have plans to get him into field work and steer his titling career towards hunt test. He has an impressive water entry and is a powerhouse in the field.
We chose him for his diverse bloodlines, working ability and size. He is 80lbs, tall and with a very deep chest,large bone and sturdy structure. His puppies are already showing width in the chest and very sturdy with good bone and highly trainable!

Are We Judging the Dog or the Performance?

The qualifications and ability of dog show judges has been debated for decades, more than likely since the first contest was held. You hear people criticize and praise judges with equal vigor and, most times, this discourse has more to do with the day’s results than the actual ability of the judge being discussed.
I always try to take a few moments at any show I attend to watch various judges do their thing. Frankly, I think most try hard to do the right thing and they have varying amounts of success in that endeavor. I think much of what is blamed on politics, especially in the classes, is really a simple lack of understanding of the breed – by both the judge and some of the exhibitors.
That being said, I do see a common occurrence that distresses me. I see many judges who, in my opinion, are placing more emphasis on presentation and showmanship than breed type and movement. So.......with less than intrepid courage, I am going to announce my litter as they are:

I just received DNA results that show that our young rockstar, Ricky, did indeed hatch out all 11 of the babys. It was an accidental tie, days prior to the planned and scheduled breeding, that we went through with anyways, hoping the legitimate breeding took. It didn't.

It was an accident, plain and simple. I am doing all that I can to get Ricky as up to date on his health testing as is possible for him at 21 months old. Everything looks good so far(hip/elbow prelims as well as current eyes results are posted on OFA) Heart(thanks to Elizabeth Olson) got me slotted in with one of their scheduled appointments next week.(our vet listened and said it sounded great! But we are going through with a cardiologist per GRCA requirements ).

Regardless of the accidental-ness of the mating, this is still a very nice breeding! Pups are very "peoply," like their mom, most are showing great, solid bone like their sire. All of them love the smell of pheasant feathers and are highly food/attention motivated.
The litter is a phenomenal one, and certainly a litter to remember. These are extremely people oriented pups and will do best with homes who have a passion for and love dogs beyond a doubt.
We are keeping Tizzy out of this litter, she basically chose us, and I'm thankful for that because I was too torn between so many choices.
We are asking $1500 a pup, with males and females available. All of the usually 'bows and strings' attached. They are being worked with daily and are well started into potty training and learning to sit/come on command.

7 weeks old already!!!
The pups are now being hand fed all their meals! This is how I start them learning to sit for attention (Manding) they also learn some much needed patience, learning to take food nicely, not to jump and BONUS they aren't competitive eating anymore. I'm able to make sure ALL puppies get enough to eat.

Fighting nap time like a pro, but after a long day (10 minutes outdoors exploring:-) their eyes refuse to stay open and they finally drift off into sleepy bliss!

They have very quickly decided in the last 2 days that potty is to go outside of the whelping box which is a HUGE success and will make potty training a breeze in the future!
They are bold and overcome obstacles, love to explore and recover from shock very quickly. Already they are listening to the puppy call and come over to investigate the noises.
Dark blue may be on the smaller side right now, but he is showing his brothers and sisters some serious s***k! And Turquoise girl is giving him a run for his money!

Babies are already 1 week old today!! They are all, 11, doing absolutely amazing!
We have 2 male and several female spots still open, looking for that perfect, active family to live a good life with!
ENS(Early Neurological Stimulation) has been started! We are excited for the work we have cut out for us in the weeks to come! Scent introduction, noise and daily novelties ..learning new things everyday!
