What a busy week! month? year? where does the time go!
It's time for the dog show again in North Kingstown, Rhode Island again! In collaboration with the Providence County Kennel Club, we have a Hollywood glam PHOTOBOOTH for all show dogs & their humans! $20 cash donation or venmo the club president -

Donation goes to the club, and order photos to compensate for volunteer photographer, Ling! Place an order for even just one image ($15) and an automatic $20 credit is applied, so you can a free photo to keep and share the fun memories at this show!

30% off photo orders through Wednesday too.

(Additional medium sized photos are $15 each, and there are a ton of fun products to order online, including a puzzle, mousepads and other fun stuff!)

Scouting for creative photo spots & snapped these iPhone photos of beautiful views at the dog show in Tunbridge! Can’t wait to do another session tomorrow morning. Utilizing compression, angles, maybe an off camera light, and lots of treats & squeaks!

Dog as art. SOOoOo funny 😆 looooove my first ever rat terrier, Woody. Found a new spot on the wall to hang this precious gallery wrap of his signature look…it will be in the new dog’s room lol. Although these pics are hard to see it’s a nice rustic white wood frame. $$$$ a fortune but worth it…he will forever be remembered….have the art now or never…. Showed this pic to Woody again and he approves 👍😂

Happy Thanksgiving! Dog show people, will we see you at the Thanksgiving Cluster this weekend in Springfield?

The show dog headshots booth is up, with a new look & new system…and new products too! And you will choose the photos on your own within 24 hrs after your dogs photos are taken! So no pressure 😅

Plus, photographers Ling and her co-photographer friend David will be taking turns doing photography. If you don’t know….David is the one to be thankful for, because he kept telling Ling and her husband Neil about doing photography with show dogs.

I know some of y’all are very bias and love Ling. But, come over to the booth and meet our friend David too, David is an incredibly skilled dog photographer out of Georgetown Mass….AND knows every lighting trick for dog photography. Ling and David have done photography work together for awhile now!

There are firsts for everything. Showing my dog for the first time reminded me of what it was like to photograph my first portrait session like 11 Years ago…. Questions like, “do they like me?” And “am I doing this right?” Or “should I have him stand differently?” And “am I really cut out for this?!” True, first time dog showing was nerve wracking. For so many years I haven’t really tried anything “new”. All of my pastimes, hobbies, work, were things I were familiar with for decades. Dog showing is, well, something I never dreamed I’d ever do, ever. Humbling

Some super awesome amazingness came, these pieces take awhile for production but some things are worth the wait! This one here reminds me of gold. Such a precious life stage of being a puppy, and her puppy-ness will be remembered forever! We sold these at the dog show.

Behind the scenes of super crazy creative shoot for commercial images. You could never tell here, but the style of this shoot is to mimick a morning scene in an old cafe in Europe. And instead of having tea with a person it’s with a precious dog. I love shoots where I can do something really unique! This day was awesome. And then followed by just a couple other more “normal” portrait-y sessions. 🥰

So many amazing dogs from last weekends dog show! Been working on doing fine tune edits like, drool, saliva, dandruff, and here and there wild hairs lol. Such a neat thing to view the dogs up close in my office on the big screen! I don’t think people realize how much detail is captured 😂 Edits should be done tonite. ****** correction ….maybe tomorrow!!!! So many more to process 🤦🏻‍♀️

Been plowing through editing so many amazing doggy headshots from last weekend! This also includes zooming in to fix dog saliva, dandruff, any wild hairs, a few leash removals etc. Its really amazing also see all these dogs up close! All the edits will be complete tonite.**** correction —-so many process and I’m super tired, will finish up tomorrow night 🤪
