Pancreatitis is an inflammation of the pancreas, an essential organ that aids in digestion and regulates blood sugar. When the pancreas becomes inflamed, it can cause painful symptoms like vomiting, abdominal pain, and lethargy in pets.

🐾 Why Do We See More Cases in November and December? 🐾
During the holiday season, well-meaning pet owners often share rich and fatty foods with their furry friends. This can overwhelm their digestive systems and lead to pancreatitis, especially when pets sneak bites of leftover turkey, gravy, or other holiday treats.

To keep your pets safe this holiday season, please avoid sharing table scraps or opt for lean bites of meat or steamed or raw veggies that are safe for them to enjoy.
