Summer fun!!!
Thank you to all of our fur families!! We appreciate all of you and love having you be a part of our family 🐾💗🐾

There's p*e and p**p and marking.
There's diarrhea and vomit.
There's slobber. There's always wet dribbley floors.
There's dog hair literally everywhere.
There's loads of laundry to do.
There's mopping and vacuuming all the time.
There's lots of cleaning.
There's arguments sometimes.
There's scared dogs that require lots of patience and work.
There's lots of p**p scooping.
There's being away from home sometimes for several days at a time.
There's lots of back and forth driving.
There's lots of sweating because it's so friggin hot out, but the dogs must play!
Have I mentioned the dog hair??
There's barking.
There's unexpected emergencies and knowing how to handle them.
There's logging everything and anything.
There's constant research and learning, growing and tweaking.
There's filing paperwork here and there and everywhere.
There's finding new and creative ways to make your business stand out.
There's some that don't understand your rates and all that goes into that or expect you to be a professional pet sitters while paying you less than minimum wage.
There's people that ghost you and dealing with difficult owners.
There's learning to say NO and knowing your boundaries.

BUT.....

There's non stop love and laughter.
There's the fears the pets overcome and the amazing feeling knowing that they now feel safe here....and you were part of that for them.
There's the trust you have gained.
There's constant companionship, even to the bathroom.
There's never sleeping alone again (our dogs already make sure of this)
There's gaining the trust of the pet parents....such a wonderful feeling.
There's lots of kisses and snuggles.
There's unconditional love 24/7.

Being a pet sitter isn't just all fun and playing with dogs or cats all day. It comes with ALOT of responsibility. It comes with the need for ALOT of patience. It comes with needing to be knowledgeable on dog behaviors and working with the pets that need a little extra work. It means adapting to change on a daily basis.
