🐾‼️FRIENDLY REMINDER ‼️🐾

Now is the time to be sure and get your animals their anxiety medications, make sure you have sound machines, tv on, anything to drown out the loud noises that come with the 4th of July festivities. And please make sure your gates are shut and locked IF they have to be outside, otherwise please don’t let them out without supervision if they are afraid. This time of year is one of the worst for animal shelters because of so many pets running away, getting lost, etc. With an overcrowded shelter comes euthanasia. So please please do your part in keeping these animals safe!! 🐾

Over the past 2 weeks, I’ve had to say goodbye to 4 dogs that I pet sit due to old age and cancer. It has taken a toll on me to say the least, as I feel like I am losing my own pet. With that being said, I’ll be taking a little break from pet sitting. I have some amazing helpers that I can direct you to. Thank you all for understanding! I’ll be back soon🩷

Meet R O C K Y 🥊🫶🏻✨

When I first met this boy in 2023, he was extremely shy and timid, after jumping out of a window he thought was open. He had the cone of shame on, plus stitches on his head and other boo boo’s. He would barely come to me and hide under the shed. Fast forward to this weekend, Rocky is a completely different dog! He came right up to me and wanted to play, he gave me kisses, and was so loving. No hiding at all. I was shocked but so happy! His parents took him to VanBuren K9 Academy and it has helped him open up so much more!

Rocky, I’m soooo proud of you for being so brave. I love you!! ❤️
