As you gear up for the big night, don’t forget your furry friends! Dogs don’t exactly 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 fireworks or champagne infused humans yelling “Happy New Year!” Even though it can be exciting for us, it can be stressful for them…here’s how to keep your pup safe and avoid starting 2025 with a vet bill:
🎇 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬:
If your dog thinks fireworks are the apocalypse. Set up a cozy spot and play calming music (or turn on Netflix—yes, even your dog will binge “The Office”).
Stay calm. If you panic, they panic, and now you’re both hiding under the table.
🍾 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
Guests coming and going? Your pup might bolt faster than you at a gym on January 2nd. Secure the door or give them their own VIP room.
No “sharing” snacks. Dogs don’t need champagne, chocolate, or Aunt Martha’s mystery dip.
📛 𝐓𝐚𝐠, 𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐭:
Check that ID tags and microchip info are updated—because nobody wants to start 2025 asking the neighborhood, “Have you seen my dog?”
