Wanting to get into breeding? Here is an opportunity that rarely comes up!! Three Sisters Silkies is rehoming last of our breeding stock.

- Full mottled Silkie rooster (Pic #1)
- Full mottled Satin hen (Pic #3/4)
- Full hypermottled Satin (Pic #2)
If you are wanting to get into breeding mottled Silkies — this is your trio. Correct comb shapes and feet, feathered feet, and nice types for projects. Outcross to black or hatch your own full mottleds! The rooster is not super heavily mottled so will cross well with the hyper mottled hen! I can go on on this trip, but just text me for more information. All are 2.5 years old

Combining fun colors and blue eggs, this are amazing pens! Bloodlines include bantam Cochin, Silkie, and Americauna.

Summer 2020 black naked neck hen

These pretty ladies are looking for new homes! Due to their age, I wouldn’t place them in a breeding program. However, they would love a pet or 4-H home! The blue hen has been shown at the county fair a few times and won blues/callbacks every time.

Silkies can live for a very long time, between 8-10 years if cared for properly. The blue hen is actually from our first batch of bred to SOP silkies we purchased, we were intending to keep her to live out her days but we are severely decreasing our numbers.

Make me an offer. Usually I s e l l a hen for between 5️⃣0️⃣ - 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ depending on the quality.

Downsizing!

I’m so sorry for not getting back to everyone. This year has been crazy and despite my best intentions, we never really got around to hatching.

We have decided to close down Three Sisters Silkies until further notice. I am going into nursing school next year (hopefully) and my younger sisters are finishing up high school and none of us have the time to dedicate to them!

That being said, we are selling off most of our flock. At this point, many of the hens (black and blue) are being retained and will be sold AFTER the county fair. Currently I can offer:

• 1 mottled split hen (3 years old, hatched directly from Sheri Minkner)
• 1 mottled split hen (1 year old, our lines)
• 1 buff cuckoo rooster (3 years old, hatched directly from Sheri Minkner. He is absolutely STUNNING and we’ve had many inquired to buy him over the years. He’s yours if you’ve been waiting)

I also have one cuckoo Silkie chick, one full mottled Silkie chick, and 4 half Silkie chicks. A few half Silkie roosters as well.

10 free range/barnyard cross. These are from our VERY hardy and productive layer personal birds. Some have small beards and/or feathered legs.

4 from our Mottled Blue egg layer project pen. (2 are naked neck, 2 are not. Two chocolate mottled split, 1 muave mottled split, and 1 black full mottled).

2 OEGB cross chicks. We have several of these babies in our keeper pen and these guys turn out SO cute! Frizzle is possible.

ALL chicks are 5️⃣ each. Minimum order of 2 unless you can have similar age chicks at home!!

I will respond to everyone individually soon, but I wanted to put out an update!

This spring has been extremely busy, so the Silkies have just been hanging out. But finally, our pens are set up for spring hatching!

We have come to the decision that we will not be offering hatching eggs this spring. We will have chicks only until further notice. I’m sorry for the inconvenience!!

Our first hatch is expected in a little over two weeks, we will have chicks from our mottled blue egg layer project (full mottled, chocolate, and naked neck possible), a mixed pen of Silkie crosses (micro silkies, naked neck, frizzles, all possible), and barnyard egg layer crosses. Silkie chicks will be coming soon, we just need to wait a few more weeks!

Update: All placed

Three Sisters Silkies is downsizing! We are transitioning to more project colors due to increased demand and going away from standard colors. Lots of our own personal show and breeder birds are up for 💰 now, plus some extra grow outs.

Happy shopping!! PM for more information on 💰 and with any questions about conformation, etc. Please note, most of these girls have been in breeder pens and are not in the best feather shape. The p r i c e reflects this!

Descriptions below each picture. Any obvious conformational flaws or amazing attributes are stated, but really these girls (and one boy) have fantastic traits and would be a great addition to any beginner Silkie breeder. Pet homes welcome too!

🚨 Silkie alert! 🚨

A lot of people reached out in the month of May about Silkies, and I put off a lot of people until after the Oregon Poultry and Homesteading Fair. Unfortunately, two days before the event it was completely closed to all chickens due to the new strain of HPAI. Due to this, we are overrun with Silkies!

I have chicks, juveniles, adult hens and adult boys. I also have some very sweet Silkie crosses and some barnyard mix babies! Varying 💵 and lots more than what is pictured so please PM me or comment with what you are looking for and we very well might have it!

I am posting on this personal page first to offer first pick to those who have liked out page.

We are working on a lot of new things this year, and these pens are one of them! Today we are welcoming these two new boys to our flock, a full mottled and a cuckoo. Thank you to Silver Falls Silkies for these two guys, we can’t wait to meet them today!

Giggles, our up and coming lemon cuckoo cockerel from Bobbi Porto at Indigo Egg. It wasn’t a color direction we were planning to go, but he’s hooked us. Currently in search of buff based pullets to get chicks for next spring!

Silkies and laying chicks and a turken! So many boys and chicks! Green colored backgrounds are 0 and just need new coops. Orange backgrounds are breeder quality and we would love to see them utilized as such!

It’s fair week! 8 of our Silkies are going this year to strut their stuff. Unfortunately some of the older ones are beginning their molt... we dug into our grow out pen to wash a couple just in case we need to make a last minute change and it’s so fun when you find what you have hiding in there!!

The pretty boy is not the normal kind of Silkie that we breed or even keep! However, we are so in love with his unique colors and amazing disposition. We are excited to get him some fun colored hens to start our new "random" coop!

We should have chicks from him hatching in about a month from two of our favorite hens, a blue and a black. After spring season, he will be off to the show pen to hopefully bring home some victories 🏆

4- Black hen, 2 years.

3- Black hen, 2 years. Shape, cushion, and wing on her is especially stunning.

10- Lot of 4 grow outs, 8 weeks. From famous breeder Dave Arnold. One chocolate, two blues, and one black. Selling as straight run but I think two boys and one pullet for sure. My opinion changes daily on the last blue. All are S O L D

5- Black frizzle hen, 1 year. She has a bald spot on the back of her crest from being pecked as a baby, and her crest is on the smaller side. Otherwise she has excellent confirmation (check out those middle toes!)
