Taking your pup on public outings & training with them is a fun way to test their focus & boost their confidence! 📈

Teach you dog that making good decisions & engaging with you (regardless of the environment) earns them rewards like love, kibble, or playtime. These positive experiences will result in a pup that’s eager for new adventures with you! 🌄

🥊CANELO🥊 walking through Downtown LA displaying great leash manners, focus, & understanding of his commands 🏆
He started off as a very excitable & distracted pup that needed to reel in some of his energy 🌪
Pups that some may think of as “scary” can intimidate people with their excitement when in fact they just want to say hello to all of the people & dogs they meet 🦋
Training helps develop impulse control, manners, & ultimately results in a more relaxed & attentive pup 🤍

⚽️SIMBA⚽️ was an incredibly fun pup to work with! He is bright & eager to please (& play 🧸), so we’re glad that his dad trusted us with his training & care 🤍

One of the most vital aspects of a dog’s training is the time & dedication their family has once the training is completed 📚 Practice practice practice is always highly encouraged, but we understand that not everyone’s lifestyle is set to accommodate that 💼✈️ We offer discounted refresher courses for all alumni indefinitely & are always available to help in any way we can, no matter the circumstance 🥰

Meet 🍉LUNA🍉 this sweet Labrador puppy came to us in need of guidance & structure 🚧
While there is no ideal age for training, starting early is always a good idea! 💡It allows families to set a solid training foundation for their pup. We always include all family members in a dog’s training process, as their long-term success will rely on the continued effort from their entire family 💖

Meet 🌱DEXTER🌱 when we first met him, he was highly nervous & even tried to run away as we approached. His anxiety made even short walks a challenge for his family.
Our aim was to socialize him 🦋, help him make positive associations with public instructions 👍, & overall boost his confidence through training 🏆
Our training programs are tailored to each unique pup & their family’s goals so we can achieve the best results for them ✅

His transformation was one of the most rewarding to be a part of! On his first day, he wouldn’t let us approach him & hid behind every plant & tree in the yard since he was so nervous 🙈

With some hard work & a lot of love- he really blossomed throughout his training 📈

It turns out he’s super fun-loving & high energy 🥰 he just needed a boost of confidence to thrive 🌱

meet 🌞KAI🌞 this little guy came to us to work on separation anxiety, confidence building, potty training, & basic obedience. Not only did he do exceptionally well in his program, but he also made a new best friend 👯‍♀️

WATSON completed a 2-week board & train program with us ✅
We covered his fundamental commands (sit, down, spot, come, & implied stay). 🐶🧠
While these short programs cover on-leash obedience, some pups excel beyond that 📈
With dedication from families & continued practice, all dogs can continue seeing training improvement throughout their lives while also being more enriched ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Meet 🥃WHISKEY🥃 this Jack Russel Terrier was really nervous & reactive, but training & socialization gave him a significant confidence boost!
On the first day, he was hiding from us & some pups, but by his last day, he was a social butterfly 🦋🦋🦋 & he made a lot of new friends!

Luna was an intelligent & rambunctious puppy that loved working on her commands! We don’t typically promise to teach pups trick commands in 2-weeks, but this little one picked it up quickly! 🤓📚
Her love of training coupled with her entire family’s dedication to it surely set her up for success & we’re happy to have played a part in it 📈

Extended “spot” command practice ✅

Duration work (i.e., holding a command for an extended period) is incredibly beneficial for pups 📚

These types of exercises:
•Promote calm behavior
•Boost confidence
•Strengthen impulse control
•Are a great form of socialization (when done with friends)

While it may seem like a simple exercise, it requires continuous mental engagement from the pups & provides an opportunity for them to be rewarded for relaxing 😌

Dynamite's training is constantly evolving and improving! Recently, we have been working on enhancing his socialization skills and ability to maintain focus in public spaces.If you are looking for a furry companion, Dynamite is still available for adoption and would make a fantastic addition to any loving home!

We believe that learning should be an experience shared by both you and your furry friend. That’s why we keep families in the loop by sending frequent video updates of their pups. You get to witness firsthand the progress your pup is making and even learn with them. Plus, seeing your dog after being away from them for a while is always a joy! Family education plays a crucial role in our board & train programs. We understand that your dog’s long-term success depends on how well you can train them. That’s why we make sure to equip families with the knowledge they need to continue training their dogs even after the program ends. Here’s a snippet of an update we sent to Honey’s mom.

Training & hand-feeding in public spaces can significantly improve a dog's confidence. Confidence goes hand in hand with relaxed behaviors- if your dog is comfortable, they are more likely to conduct themselves calmly. Winston has improved so much in terms of socialization & overall relaxed behaviors. It's been a joy to guide him towards becoming more composed in new places!
