A golden heart stopped beating today, our golden retriever Macy, our “pretty girl” died this afternoon. She came to us 13 1/2 years ago, so we could find her a new home, and she never left. She loved us endlessly, was fiercely loyal, and was the sweetest dog. She had nothing but disdain for my parenting, so she always put herself in charge of watching the kids, especially Kellen. She loved car rides, treats, long walks, shredding every dog bed I ever bought her, and and her kids. She’d lost her sight a few years ago, and I thought her hearing too, until I realized she’d never really listened to me anyway, she only listened to the kids. Right up to the end, when I told her it was ok to go, we’d take good care of her boys, she hung on as long as she could. She was the best of dogs, a huge part of our family and our memories, we will miss her forever. 💕

Sire of this litter, is Fjord, he is an AKC registered Standard Poodle, about 55 lbs, and stands about 23 inches tall. He has an awesome, very calm personality, loves people, loves attention. The dam is Kona, she is an AKC registered Golden Retriever, about 45 lbs, and stands 22 inches tall. She is super sweet, very friendly, very people oriented, very typical of a Golden Retriever. We received our dam from Dillan Porter, of Porter’s Country Kennels, the sire is owned by Porter’s Country Kennels. Dillan has been mentoring me, and instructing me on the protocols of how to raise well bred, healthy puppies, with a calm, happy disposition. We currently work in conjunction with Dillan and Porter Country Kennels on raising our puppies, and with our deliveries.
