I am passionate about helping horses feel in top condition and perform at their best. My name is Nicole, and I have cared for horses my whole life. I was 3 when I got my first horse, and then as soon as I was old enough, I started 4-H and continued for 10 years along with hippology (study of the horse). I have participated in local shows, barrel races and rodeos around Michigan. I attended Michiga
n State University for my Equine Management certification. After that I continued to stay involved with local 4-H, hippology, and the high school equestrian team, while showing my own horse. I decided I wanted to further my life in the equine industry and went to back to school to become an equine massage therapist. I have loved every second of it. I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet mare today "Phyllis". Her owner said she was very stiff on her Left side and you could see it when she moved as well. She got a little bit of everything today. She got some red light in the front left hoof/pastern. A full body massage and the equirelease massage gun. She was visibly less stiff after and much more relaxed 💕
This is my personal horse jazz. We brought her home a few weeks ago. And the more we ride the more she does not want to lope to the right. Today when she was getting her feet trimmed and my amazing farrier happened to mention she seemed stiff picking up her right hind. Mind you Laura my farrier did not know we were having problems until I said something and then showed her videos of her loping. So today jazz got her first of many red light, massage, and liniment treatments and she loved every second of it 💕
Her stifle was just one of the spots that got some attention. I will post more in the comments 😊

These sweet little grays got their second massage. And Belle got another red light treatment for her joint pain. They have slowly started to show more releases and expressions of relaxation. Seeing the muscle difference in before and after is always so cool. 💓
New client and recurring client with a new horse ❤️
Belle and her human are a new client, the light gray, has arthritis and an old injury to her back right leg. Naturally as anyone is with arthritis she was stiff and had some mild inflammation. Especially in the back right leg. Once she realized that it was a good thing she had some very good releases and expressions. Used the red light on her leg with the old injury, she has some scar tissue and inflammation, by the end the inflammation had gone down and the area was not so hard. She was falling asleep by the end of it ❤️
Freckles is a new horse, he had some sore spots over his pelvis and his hamstrings. And he told you when he liked it lol he had very good releases as well as some awesome expressions! Did some stretches at the end to help out his top line and hamstrings. He had a much better posture and relaxed muscle definition when done ❤️

Trying to get this mare to relax is a chore. ( This is my personal horse) I love her dearly but she has always been on the high strung side. Watching her eyes soften and her body relax was very nice to see. Lots of licking and chewing and yawning ❤️
I have not introduced my dogs yet. This little guy is Bruno. He is our 10 month old Doxie. He tends to play a lot more rough than he should. A few weeks ago he was playing too hard and the next day was sore. He has had a slight limp in his front left since. This is his second night with the red light and he loves every second of it. He definitely feels better after ❤️ excited to see progress with him 😊

Red light therapy uses photobiomodulation, which is a low-level laser therapy that delivers red and near-infrared light to areas of the body. It helps grow back cells, restore cell function and trigger blood flow. This helps to heal and relieve pain
Not only can this be used on your equine friend it can be used on your canine or feline friend as well!

-40$ for red light therapy ( 2 spots, 15 minutes minimum each) 10$ for every two spots after that
-80$ for massage and red light ( same treatment applies with red light)

Been pretty inactive lately. Worked on one of my favorites, the bucksin. Definitely was tight in the pelvis and withers. Had some good releases.
The cremello stallion was a first. He is a big guy. He had some very good releases when working on his poll. Very expressive. (He is also standing at stud)

A busy weekend started off with seeing one of my favorites! Now that the really cold days are hopefully over with people are starting to get back into the groove of things and getting horses back in shape for show season. Stella has always been super enjoyable to work on. She is very expressive about how she feels. Her poll was very tight, and using pressure points on her poll she just melted and relaxed. Full body massage, essential oil drop therapy, and Equirelease. Stella is getting ready for a year full of adventures ❤️
Saw my favorite little buckskin again on Friday. In the before picture she was standing very wide and stretched out. Afterwards she was standing much more square and under herself the way she should be. Her poll (the area right behind her ears) is always very tense and where she carries most of her tension. We spend extra time there with pressure points, essential oils, and the equirelease. 💓
Stellas routine maintenance massage today. Today she seemed to be a little more sore than usual. She is still dropping her right hip when trotting. So we spent some extra time on that side and after she was a little better. With regular massages and the equirelease and essential oils we hope to get her back to 100% . Stella's massage today. I decided to do before and after videos as well (in the comments) because you can really see a difference afterwards. She is not so stiff. In the before video she has a slight head bob from being sore. She has been very sore pretty much all over in her right hind. And you can see that in the video along with the pictures. Weekly massage has done her some good ❤️❤️
Two beauties today 😍 Stella is going back on weekly massages. And was very sore all over. Afterwards we watched her move and it was like night and day. I'm super excited to see how this helps her. Ace I have not worked on in quite some time. I got distracted talking to his wonderful owner and forgot to take after pictures of him. But ace has always been very tense and alert of everything going on around him. It was very nice to see him lick and chew and relax as much as he can ❤️
My favorite lil dapple got a massage today. Roxie has not had a massage and has been a little off track with them due to scheduling changes and I could definitely notice a difference. She has always carried a lot of tension in her poll and neck on both sides. And it was pretty noticable today. Hopefully getting her back on a routine to will help that ❤️
Little guy with a big heart! Pops got another massage today and with the colder weather this morning did some hand walking before massaging. He had some really really good releases in his hind end and really stretched out while getting his massage. I've found he really likes pressure points and the pressure points in his hind end are where I can repeatedly get him to stretch his back leg out and release well ❤️
Stella was off schedule a little bit due to getting a new owner. Thankful for new owners who want to keep them on schedule tho! Due to the cold weather setting in and being off schedule her back was very sore. Hopefully get her back on soon!
Totally got side tracked the other day and forgot to post Lilly's before and after of her last every other week massage before we move to once a month with winter coming up and she gets a winter break from roping as much. She had a very nice massage and relaxed very well and I was really able to get into the deep muscle ❤️
Lilly before and after. This is her third massage in about a week and a half. Her back and her hips have been sore but are improving. She had a big change in muscle tone this time and a lot of tension releases.
After a long fun weekend of roping at cow camp Lilly was a little bit sore. We did a massage and spot treatment with essential oils. Her back and shoulders were very sore. She liked it but wasn't totally sure how to show it. We had lots of yawning and licking. She will get a few more massages over the next week to see if we can get her back where she needs to be ❤️
Lilly and Stella got their every other week massage. Lilly has a big weekend of team roping at cow camp coming up so we did some extra deep muscle massaging and used lots of lavender which is her favorite. And Stella got her routine massage and as always showed how much she loves her hind end being worked on. ❤️
Whiskey and Levi got their monthly massage today. Last time Levi was not comfortable at all when being massaged even with light touches. Today we used lots of lavender essential oil and he was MUCH happier. We were able to do a full massage with him today which is a big improvement from last time. Whiskey is on a routine maintenance now and as always he loved every second of it. He is showing his tension releases more every time we do a massage ❤️
Pops had a good massage today. But who doesn't want to wake up and have a massage 🤣 he had a lot of good releases like licking and yawning. Also two very big stretches that he did on his own. His back and shoulders are still tight but they are loosening up and have become easier to work. We used the equirelease on him today and he really enjoyed it. His posture was much better afterwards. You can see in the before picture he is standing with his feet close together and far under him and after he is standing much more straight and comfortable.
These two girls had a day full of pampering yesterday. Both horses had really good massages. The demeanor in both horses was much more calm and relaxed after. We used essential oils and the equirelease. ❤️
This lil guy had his first massage with me today. He is very tight in his shoulders and his back. His right side is tighter than his left. He had some very good tension releases and at about halfway through his massage he even stretched him self out and let out a big sigh lol it's interesting seeing all the different ways these horses release tension that they have. With a few more massages we will be able to get into his deep tissue muscles and really work on those as well 🙂
Doing before and after pictures a little different this time. Roxie had some really big changes this time with her massage. You can see her hips are uneven in before and then after she is much more level. In the before picture she is standing with her front legs under her more than she should and then afterwards she is standing much better and not so tucked up. Her muscling is much better in the after pictures as well. Roxie carries a lot of tension in her pool which is the spot right behind her ears so we spent lots of time working on that as well.
Lilly and Stella had their every other week massage again. Both these girls work very hard at their job (team roping). The more they get massaged the less problems I am finding and it is turning into routine maintenance. Lilly is the first photo you can see a change in muscle definition before and after. Stella is the second picture. Her neck is usually sore along with her hind quarters. Both girls had really good tension releases and their muscles are becoming easier for me to get deep tissue massage done
Old men need love too lol Levi Got his first massage with me today. All over he was pretty ouchie and uncomfortable. We are hoping with more time and massages he will feel much better. His hips were very uneven at the beginning because he did not want to stand up right. At the end he was standing much better. Whiskey also got another massage today. As always he loved it and expressed how much he loves it as much as he could lol. he is usually tight in his back. And today after his massage everything was much easier to work with and get into the deep muscle 💪❤️

Both horses have become so relaxed and really have started to show how they feel when they like something or even when they don't like something.
