It is with a very heavy heart and lots of tears that I let you all know that Lucy died earlier this week. She got out of the lot somehow, wandered a couple miles to the nearest road and was hit by a vehicle. Our hearts are broken as she was one of the sweetest and most loving bassets that we have owned. She was absolutely beautiful and perfect. She will be sorely missed by our family and her basset besties. 💔

Just a quick update between puppy deliveries. Elly has had 8 beautiful pups. Unfortunately 3 didn’t make it. We are pretty positive she has more to deliver, but it’s been awhile since the last one. So Mark is on his way to the vet’s office to get her a shot of oxytocin to help her push. I will update more when I can. Please keep praying. She is quite exhausted.
