Performing a canine massage (for me) is akin to a spiritual experience, my focus is on the dog and how the dog is feeling. My concentration must be intense in order to correctly perform the moves I have learned, I must listen to the dog and to his body to fully understand what I must do next.

TESS’ TOUCH

Perhaps the most incredible, moving massage I have done was for Tess, a beautiful Border Collie who was very ill with severe liver disease. Tess, family bravely put her to sleep before she was in severe pain.

I had the honor of working on Tess, the day before she passed. Then it happened! Her mom alerted me to what Tess looked like during and after her massage. Both her mom and I were in awe of the amazing transformation, she looked renewed!

I was very happy to allow Tess to have a beautiful last day before she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. This experience, was so special, I came up with a name for this particular type of massage to honor this experience. This very special, transformative massage is called “Tess’ Touch”., Any dog in their last stage of life will benefit greatly from Tess’ Touch.❤️‍🩹

Here I am massaging Jack, a sweet, wonderful boy. I am using a snuffle mat to entice and provide enrichment mainly for dogs who lack focus. It is so gratifying to be able to help ease pain so your pup will feel renewed and ready to play!🩷 Jack belongs to Freddi Martinez.

Gracie’s Senior Massage…

Gracie is a super sweet Bergamasco Sheepdog. An ancient breed, the Sheepdog was developed by shepherds as herding and guarding dogs. Today, this intelligent breed, is most famous for their unique matted, mop-like coats. Bergamascos are known as friendly and make good social companions.

Gracie will wander away but come back for more work. I used a Snufflemat with treats to entice her. The Snufflemat is a great device for dogs that wander or get distracted easily
