Got some cutting practice in yesterday, getting this mare tuned up and ready for high school rodeos.

Getting this guy started on the pattern and ready to start seasoning whenever spring decides to show up!
Couple slight road blocks along the way but I’m sure happy with how he’s coming along.

Hope everyone made it through storm! Client horses are enjoying being out of the wind and in the fresh sawdust for a few days. Got their outside pens cleaned out this morning so they’ll go back out tomorrow after it warms up a bit🥶

Hey everyone! I haven’t been on this page much but no worries, I’m still here living the dream! ❤️

When I started training for the public (almost 7 years ago🤯) the goal was always to start c**ts and train barrel horses and eventually transition to solely training barrel/pole and breakaway horses. Well.. years later and I’m finally doing it! This is something I’ve put alot of thought into lately and am really looking forward to. The performance horse industry is something I’m super passionate about and I am soo excited to shift my focus towards helping those athletes find their full potential in the arena! I believe this transition will allow me to fully showcase my capabilities and open up more opportunities to succeed with my long term training goals.
With that being said- I do still enjoy starting c**ts so I will be taking 1 (approved) 2 year old in at time (60 days min, 75-90 preferred). If you’ve got one to start please get ahold of me ASAP as those spots typically fill quickly. The remaining openings will be for:
-patterning on barrels and/or poles
-breakaway training
-tune ups

A few other changes will be made in order for this transition to go smoothly and ensure the best quality care and results;
-less horses/month= QUALITY vs quantity is my #1 priority
-increase in prices: this is something I’ve tried my hardest to avoid but is getting to be unavoidable (will honor current rate for everyone already on the schedule)
-continued improvements to all aspects: feed program, pen setup, tack, etc.
-continuing ed: I’ll attend at least 1 clinic/year (there’s ALWAYS something new to learn and I thoroughly enjoy learning and improving!)
-more videos! I WILL be taking and posting more progress videos of each horse in training.

Availability:
I’m currently booked full until June. I have limited openings for tune ups, barrels, poles, or breakaway each month after.
My next opening to start a c**t is October.

Last but not least- a HUGE thank you to all of my past, current and future clients. I have met so many wonderful people and gotten to ride a ton of nice nice horses and for that I’m forever grateful. The support means everything to me and I’m looking forward to this next step in my career.❤️

2 year old mare in to be started. She has been here about a month and a half and has a good solid start! Started working her on the flag this week also (every horse can greatly benefit from flag work!).

Coming 4 year old mare by General Pepto. I started her a couple years ago. She’s a barrel futurity prospect but will also be worked on the flag and roped off of!

JB is an 8 year old gelding that was previously started on the barrels but needed lots of slow work. He’s made soo much progress! He’s also went through the cone drills, barrel work, and working the flag. Will share progress videos soon.

Meet Fireball 🔥
Coming 4 year old bully bullion bred gelding. Fireball came to get some more rides under his belt. We’ve done some Sam Flannery and Phil Haugen cone drills, lightly started on the barrels, have started working the flag, and yesterday he got a taste of being a turn back horse at the cutting practice!

Ryder made his appearance on 10/18❤️
I’ll be back to work after Thanksgiving and plan to start posting more videos of the progress of my client horses!
I’m booked for December but I do have a couple openings available after the new year. With that being said- I am taking a couple less horses in each month so if you’d like to bring me one get in touch ASAP!
Looking forward to getting back in the saddle🥰

I started the #4 filly this last winter and she just won this race. So fun to see their success after I get to work with them

Bay mares final pole lope through. She’s such a natural, show her once and she’s got it figured out.
These mares will be fun to watch in the future 😍

(Forgot to move the camera so can’t see the last pole)

Hey everyone, decided it was probably time to get a page set up. I’m not very good about posting videos of client horses but I’m going to try to start sharing some!

If you’ve brought me a horse to ride feel free to leave a review.
