Look at big guy go! Once he starts reaching into the bit we will be golden!
He makes the other hunt seat horses look small lol
After healing from a fractured hip and then some vet work to find out that she’s just a mare with an extreme attitude, we are finally making great strides in training. Getting some lift in the front and drive with the butt. Hard to do when this mare is as wide as she is tall!
Now that we’re all settled back in, congrats to all the girls on a great first show with Wisconsin Appaloosa Horse Club!
Trinity and Riveting Dreamer picked up some points in the hunter in hand and had great personal improvement in the riding classes. The competition was very solid and he’s a green bean. Next time!
Liz and Serenity Now picked up some points in their Western horsemanship and pleasure classes taking home the composite first in horsemanship. They also tried english and had fun!
Lila and Only On Impulse picked up points in everything! Halter, most colorful, hunt seat pleasure, western pleasure and horsemanship. They took home the composite win in most colorful!
Endzone and I took home open games high point winning barrels, poles, and keyhole with a second in stakes. We earned 14 points finishing our keyhole ROM and taking the early lead for the jr games horse saddle again!
Happy to be home!
Congratulations Elizabeth Anderson on your purchase of Serenity Now! We are so excited for next show season!
Thank you Chelsea and Nicholas Beil for the easy purchase and hauling!
Hoppin To The Bar did not care *at all* about the saddle being thrown on, cinched up, or lunging with it. What a perfect boy 🥰
After he is finished prep for a rider, he will be started after a consult with a vet to make sure he is ready. If you have a problem with this, please read the below article or research the scientific study that this article is summarizing. And if you still have a problem, please realize your opinion does not matter to me 🙂

These new teams are ready to learn more about each other over the winter and kick butt at ApHC shows next year!
Rosie, Meela, and (not pictured) B***y all had great rides last night! Plus River was the best lesson pony as always.
These faces make coming to the barn after doing a 8hr or more days work for another 4-5 hrs worth it.
I am a lesson horse.
I am a horse that isn’t as recognized as the top hunter jumpers, the best western pleasure horse, or the 1D barrel horse, I am a lesson horse. I am the backbone of the foundation to do all of those things. I am a lesson horse.
I am not loved by one person. I am loved by several people. I don’t have my person, I have my people. I am a lesson horse.
I will teach your child and yourself more than just to ride. I will bring your child out of their shell. I will teach your child about life. I will be yours and their shoulder to cry on. I am a lesson horse.
I will bring my family the joy of teaching kids. I will bring my families business growth. I am so loved by my family, even if they don’t express it everyday. My family allows others to show me love and enjoy me. I am a lesson horse.
At the end of your childs’ journey on a lesson horse, they will out grow me. They will find one that jumps higher, a horse that is show quality, a horse much faster than me. But, I will never outgrow being a lesson horse. I will be the one that loved your child and helped your child grow into the rider and person they are. I am a lesson horse.
At the end of my time as a lesson horse; I will be covered in grey hair. Each grey hair came from each hour I spent as a lesson horse. I will be in a field of green grass, I will be taken care of as I was when I was a lesson horse. I will watch your child from across the pasture love her new horse. But, I will love your child more than any horse can. I will be the backbone of the business, the family, and your child. Don’t forget about me, I am a lesson horse.
I am a lesson horse.

Hard to keep up with posting with how many lessons we have now, but Roeder performance horses would like to welcome River to the lesson crew. This guys is not an appaloosa (whaaaaatttt) but has quickly made his spot in our hearts. Perfect for beginners to gain confidence on and learn while having fun.
Just realized I never posted this girl on here! This is “Sign N for Cash” aka B***y. Watch out for her in games events next year if I ever time to get her broke lol
Welcome Only On Impulse aka Houston to the team! Shown below as a yearling and then as a 3 y/o. Rode him as a 2 and fell in love ❤️ Had to get him when the opportunity came.
Taken x Impulsive Zipper mare
If you look in the background of his yearling picture, you may recognize a horse!
Endzone has been one of the biggest blessings in my life and I am so lucky that I get to share his love and talent with some talented students.
Picture one is Ms. Brooke who is learning how to post on the correct diagonal and excelling! We also took our first ride in the massive outdoor and did phenomenal!
Picture two is Ms. Sonja who came to me after a hiatus from riding. She picked it back up very quickly and now we get to focus on the more challenging areas of riding a horse including the full body control buttons Endzone has. Show pen look out!
Last but not least is Ms. Baylee who is still getting used to him. Endzone gave her some challenges to help her feel confident in her abilities and she absolutely rocked it.
Wonderful day yesterday at Roeder Performance Horses!
We started off the day with a great tiny tot lesson where Ms. Brooke keeps improving exponentially each lesson and was even able to work him off the line!
Next, Ash rode super well for me and when it was Debs turn, they were rockstars together. Ride 24 on Ash and he has gone from a tense, unpredictable, talented bucking horse to a lope on a loose rein and sit on his butt stopping, reliable guy.
Last but not least, we had an introductory lesson with Ms. Baylee! She came from an english barn and was not used to the responsiveness of Endzone as a show horse but adapted super quickly and rocked it!
Excited for the next rides!
Schedule lessons quick! Only 2-3 slots left unless I get another lesson horse!
New location, new horses (and breed), new goals, and re-opened!
Fully insured!
Offering lessons (focus on individuals looking to show). Limited availability. I will buy another lesson horse if interest is there.
Training- I show successfully in Appaloosa all around, specifically ranch! Will not take on saddleseat, cattle classes, reiners.
