We just have eyes to do and Palace is finished with her testing and will get her CHIC number. I'm excited! This time next year I will hopefully be raising a kiddo or two from her for my next show prospects. 🥰

My heart has shattered... A piece of it just torn away and gone so quickly. Gwen acted off earlier in the night, nothing to immediately alert me to an emergency but enough to note and keep a close eye on her. Put her to bed with her kiddo a few hours later, but my Tzus to bed about an hour after that and saw her trying to throw up. Helping her out of her kennel, I immediately noticed her swollen stomach.

She had bloat. The closest emergency vet was 45 minutes away and by the time we got there and was immediately rushed back, she was starting to code. Her prognosis of making it through surgery was low and the vet recommended letting her go as she was in immense pain, even with heavy pain meds on board. So myself and her kiddo Palace said our goodbyes at 3:05 am...

Farwell my beauty, the best, most amazing girl who ever lived. You'll always be in our hearts and forever leave a legacy behind you. I am not okay, your baby is not okay...

We are getting there! My clip has come a LONG way since I put him into clip May of last year. Almost a year in to maintaining this clip now. I have learned SO MUCH from grooming him and watching videos from professionals on this clip. His coat is also only improving more and more with proper care now too. I am so, so very proud to say I did this clip all on my own. He's still got some growing to do, but he's getting there!

CH Defined Elegance Palace of Flames! Our very first champion! (I know she's a hot mess. 😂 But I was too excited to care haha.)
This is an accomplishment I dreamed of for more than a decade. I have wanted to show poodles since I was a child and truly, just a year ago I never thought it'd be something I could ever accomplish or do. Yet here we are, with my very first champion and a bred by to boot! I'll get professional pictures done of this girl once her coat grows out more. But we're going to try for her grand next!
A massive thank you is due to my amazing friend Emily with without her, I never would have tried. She gave me so much encouragement and support to get out there with Palace and give it my best and now here we are, after 2 and a half showing weekends with a champion and a girl who has come a LONG way since our very first show where we both were nervous and anxious.
I hope to keep back from her and continue going further with these lines!
