A bit about my inspiration for this business. Annie was a deaf double-merle Australian Shepherd I adopted almost 18 years ago. She was sitting in a shelter. I knew nothing about deaf dogs, but I took her home and over the years she became the motivating factor in helping establish Deaf Dogs of Oregon, a rescue located in Portland, OR that rescues and adopts deaf dogs. I began making dog products then to sell to support the rescue. Since then, I have retired and located to Oklahoma, but I still make some products for this rescue. Annie was our sweet ambassador at many dog events. She was trained in agility and knew many hand commands.
