Our first doggy day out with Anderson Humane😊 Everyone meet Nino! He is up for adoption❤️ He has the best demeanor and loves to just hang out!

We went on a walk at a forest preserve where he was around other people, bikes, dogs, and kids. He was so sweet with everyone! He had a pup cup at Starbucks and 2 burger patties at McDonalds. We went to Farm and Fleet and picked him up a new toy 🐷.

He is almost 2 and 1/2 years old. The sweetest and handsomest little guy on the planet. He was super relaxed and carefree the whole time. He has an amazing personality and is full of nothing but love❤️

Please help him find his forever home🐾❤️

Her name is Elsa. She passed away very suddenly at 9 years old. She came down with a respiratory illness and was projected to be okay with heavy antibiotics. 48 hours later I experienced the loss of my first fur baby.

Her defining characteristic was love. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. When anyone walked through the door into our home, she was greeting you with a toy in her mouth as a prize and a tail hitting every surface in sight.

Everyone always asked what breed she was, “some kind of doodle?” She was a Portuguese Water Dog with super tight curly fur. She had the smallest ringlets on the front of each leg.

Her favorite place to lay in the house was under someone. She would whine and bark until you put your feet up so she could be under your legs.

When she got hot from going on a walk or being outside, she would immediately go to the vent and wait for one of us to turn on the air conditioning for her.

There are so many more quirks and stories about how amazing she was. I am so lucky to have had her as my first fur baby. Thank you to those at Gateway Veterinary Clinic for all of your help. A big thank you to everyone at Just For Paws for keeping her looking and feeling her best.

She absolutely loved everyone and she will never be gone from our memory. You were the heart and soul of this family for so many years. ❤️❤️❤️
