Almost 1 week old already!!! Puppies eye and ears are still closed they find their mom and their siblings by using their sense of smell, feeling warmth and crawling. Their fur is growing in more so we are able to see some more details of their markings, colors and coat textures. Puppies have all started early neurological stimulation to strengthen their circulatory systems and to strengthen their ability to handle stress as adults.

The Remi+Rowan litter is 4 weeks old now. That means they are half way to making some dreams come true and going to their forever homes! 🙌🏼 I am soooo excited about their new families! Each one of them is going to a great home where they will continue to be showered with love.

The last 3 weeks FLEW by! I love this stage! They can see and interact with us now so it makes things really fun! I love watching my kids with them. I’ll post some pictures in my story of everyday life with my kids and the puppies.

I spend too much of my day watching them sleep!! Nobody has time for that! But I love it and I do it anyway!! They’ve almost tripled in weight!! They are opening their eyes and it’s the cutest thing ever!! 😍

I also bought a baby monitor that hooks to an app and I can see these pups at any given moment!! No matter where I am! It’s awesome. And maybe the smartest puppy decision I have made! 😂

Whoever said you can’t buy happiness, forgot about puppies. 😂

Remi is an awesome mom. Last night I just laid on the floor next to her and we had a conversation with our eyes. Her eyes are actually the reason I picked her, or maybe she picked me. 🥰 When I met her I just kept telling my husband “she has the cutest face, look at her eyes” I swear she can see my soul with her eyes. I was never going to be one of those weird people who obsessed over their dogs, but now I’m that crazy dog lady. And I don’t mind it a bit.

“Momma? These puppies are sleepyheads! When are they going to wake up?”

Puppies are born underdeveloped. Their eyes and ears are sealed shut at birth and remain closed for 10-16 days. They are essentially born blind and deaf and don’t begin to see and hear until about 2-3 weeks of age. Puppies fully rely on their sense of smell to survive during the first few weeks of life.

They are one week old today! Their noses have started to turn black. They are moving around much more now, & make lots of fun little squeaking noises. 🥰

“They beg every day to hold the puppies. 🥰 We know how important it is to keep our puppies safe, so for the first few weeks there really isn’t a lot of hands on... But from time to time we let the kids get in a snuggle and remind them how to support and hold the little guys. We are thoroughly enjoying this sweet litter!

They have NAMES!! 🙌🏼🥳
I let my kids pick the theme for this litter and they came up with naming them after their favorite “Summertime Sodas”. ☀️🥤

What is your favorite summertime drink!?
