Tunnel tip!
Want to introduce the tunnel to your dog?
.
Start with it mostly collapsed and slowly open it up to make the tunnel longer and longer while your dog starts to get the hang of it.
.
Having a leash will also help to stop them if they want to go around the tunnel rather than through.
.
Lots of praise and cookies to help!
Who do you think won the game? 🤔
.
Don’t forget to practice your down stays with distractions!
Who wants to learn more about the benefits of this box we keep posting about? 🤔
.
Just another thing to add to your training toolbox! 🙃
Whaaat is that?!
.
Can you guess 🧐🤔
Puppy’s first intro to the tracking box 😇
.
It’s like horse blinders to help keep the dog focused and a great stepping stone in training
.
Eventually we teach the puppy to keep his head in the box as we introduce distractions that would normally get him off task

☝️ first make sure your remote collar is making contact… even with fluff like this! Even without feathers we were able to ensure contact to the skin by utilizing our Doggify app.
✌️ The new K9 transmitter is a MUST have for dog trainers. Have you ever had a client ask when you’re pushing the button? Maybe you have a sound box that gives you feedback? Say no more! Your K9 remote is all-in-one and you can turn the feature on and off easily with your Doggify App!

How to pair your Martin System remote to your collar and finger kick
.
This process is similar to all the remotes that Martin System offers.
.
Place and hold a magnet on the red line or dot on your collar
.
Once your collar turns on you will hear a tone, keep your magnet there until you see lights flash fast
.
Once the lights are flashing, the Bluetooth on your collar is in pairing mode so be careful if someone else in the vicinity is using their Martin System remote or finger kick because they could swipe your collar and control it by accident
.
Next, for the K9 or the PT3000 remote, press one of the four side buttons to pair your collar with
.
If you’ve successfully paired your collar, your collar will light up as you push the paired button on your remote

A private lesson and a board and train dog working side by side

Both dogs have gotten into fights with other dogs
.
Both dogs are reactive on leash to other dogs…
.
Now they coexist 👌
What do you dooooo when it’s nice outside?!
.
Too good not to take advantage of a good park session
Can you recall your dog while they are distracted?
Let’s practice!…
.
1.) Put a long leash on your dog (we are using a 30ft)
2.) Let you dog go to be distracted
3.) Call your dogs name and recall word (Monti Come)
3.) At the same time you call your dog, tug the leash towards you
4.) When they come to you give the “sit” command to create good habits
.
.
Monti is working on e-Collar recalls in this video, and look how happy the boy is! You’d never know the collar was being used.

The treadmill can be a very beneficial part of training.
Not only does it give your dog a physical workout, but it also works their brain as they have to really think about how fast or slow they are going.
Knowing the right speed, duration, and incline of your dogs treadmill workout will differ for each dog. Please consult a professional!
What a sweet sweet girl she is, though she literally screams when she sees other dogs.
.
-R is an amazing tool when used correctly! It can create so much clarity in a reasonable amount I time.
The dog that doesn’t out….
👏.👏.👏
Hard work and determination along with thanks to @bartandmichaelbellon for making this possible.
This lil guy was fun😊

Ollie will always be my new example of why it's important to train your puppy. Though he's cute, he does not like being restrained. We found that out reeeaaaaal quick when he screamed his head off for 2 min in a Denver apt complex acting like he was literally dying.
.
I was just holding him and not letting him down because he was biting and squirming to get down. Kind of like a child throwing a tantrum, and has learned that if he bites (not in a playful way either) that we stop and let him down.
.
If he were 2years old and 60lbs, the process it would take to get to where Ollie is in this video would be 10x harder and more stressful for everyone. Guaranteed he would be the dog that would be sedated for nail trims, muzzled for shots, and a plethora of other things important.
.
Restraint is not a natural thing for a dog to just accept which is why vet appointments become so traumatic. There are so many different forms of pressure that we need to expose our dogs to. Pressure can be someone walking towards the dog (kind of like a horse), pressure can be from a leash (tension), and pressure can be from being restrained. Teach your dog how to turn pressure off, it will help you in so many ways.
.
Train your puppy even if they are the sweetest thing in the world, even if they "don't do anything bad", and especially if you ever think to yourself "that will go away on its own".
.
Now Ollie has a foundation set for the rest of his life. He has structure, and most importantly he has dedicated owners.
