invited us to another awesome event and of course we didn't hesitate, they're an awesome host! We paired with rabbit rescue again to make sure all the smiling children had plenty of fur to choose from. This was a wonderful event with plenty of amazing vendors, endless motivation and of course delicious foodies! Our volunteers were awesome as always and did a fantastic job taking each rider on a safe little adventure.

Thank you to everyone who came to ride one of our horses, pet the bunnies, volunteer and snag a business card. Don't forget we always have farm fresh eggs available each week!! 🥚🐔

As autumn is upon us, we are looking to create a few changes to our trail ride availability. What do you do when you lose you’re entire command staff within 60 days? One is moving with her husband back toward home & the other is PCSing. This isn’t simply a business loss… staff/crew/volunteers all come & go. This is my family and this loss is personal. Being transient is very common this close to a military base but that doesn’t change the fact that you find people you depend upon, that become important to you and that you begin to love.

Hello everyone. My name is Derrick. I’m the owner of DM Outdoors and Safe Haven Farm. I want to take a moment to thank you for loving these rescued horses. We are not a Horse Rescue per se, but all of our horses are rescues in one way or another. Their first day at Safe Haven might be the first time they’ve ever been truly safe. Every single dollar that you spend on riding our horses goes back into the cost of feed, hay, tack care, medical care, foot care, gas/maintenance for the trucks and trailers, barn upkeep, and farm infrastructure. We take no profit whatsoever. There is a staff of volunteers here and the only paid people we have are the trail guides. While each of these things has become more expensive lately with the exorbitant inflation we’re all experiencing, we have made every effort to absorb the increased cost and not increase our prices. We wholeheartedly believe in doing good business, not big business. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to our customers and friends, new and old alike. Got our new set up squared away for the guys we need to leave back whenever we have more horses than riders at different times throughout the day. Portable electric fence to go with the long tie outs & as always, we park in the shade. Everyone is certified to stand tied and they’re never there longer than an hour.
