UPDATE: This has been a very hard update to write but it is time to expose what has been having behind the scenes. With deepest apologies, we must inform you that our boarding and daycares services have been discontinued as of December 2023, due to unforeseen circumstances and a zoning department ruling. We have spent the last 6 months seeking alternative solutions to continue providing services to our clients. We now offer mobile services such as vacation drop-in visits, midday walks, and overnight stays in your home. Your support is greatly appreciated as we navigate this difficult period.

What are Pup Adventures with The Bark House? It is a door to door service where we will come pick up your furry best friend, take them for an hour long adventure around town and safely drop them off at home. What a beautiful day to celebrate the grand opening of the Bark Park with all our pup friends and their families yesterday. A huge shout out to my family for putting in all the time, sweat, tears and effort to make my dream a reality. A huge thank you to our vendors who made the event even more fun for the pups and their hoomans. And of course a gigantic thank you to our Barlown community, our Legacy Martial Arts of Ridgefield family, and our KickFit CT family for coming and supporting us. And all of this wouldn’t be possible without all our loyal clients who have been with us throughout this year. You are the true rockstars and we appreciate each and everyone of you.

This post is for the hoomans, sorry pups! It’s time to highlight and share how amazing our clients are. During spring break, we were able to host our dear clients’ furry best friends while they were is Disney World, Universal Studios and other various part of Florida; Paris, Iceland and many other cool places in the world. They were able to have a stress free vacation while their loved pets were in our care. At pick up, they surprised us with very thoughtful pieces from around the world. Thank you thank you! We love each and everyone of our clients. You are all a part of the Bark House CT family.

We had the pleasure of hosting this little fur ball of love - a 4 month old puppy named Vixon. Vixon was a great overnight guest. He settled right in with our own dog Bear and our kids. Vixon, welcome to the family!

Today was the first time we got to host another Bear. We loved hosting Tiny Bear with very own Big Bear. Tiny Bear settled right in with our kids and own dog.

Today’s puppy play group welcomes Wyatt as our first time guest. Wyatt had a great first day! We all learned to share, got lots of pets, went on a walk and enjoyed treats. We can’t wait for this group to be together again.

We can’t wait to share Hunny B’s story! We met Hunny a few weeks ago and she was so nervous to be around other dogs including our own dog Bear. Today I was able to witness the joy and playfulness. She was able to enjoy her day with Bear without being nervous. She even has a huge smile on her face.

Have you seen the new Bark Park? We have a slow entry gate to make sure all dogs are safe and ready to enter. In the slow entry area, we have hooks for all our dog leashes to be hung. Once in the Bark Park, we have an automatic water bowl for the dogs to enjoy while they run around and play with their friends. We even have a waste station in the Bark Park. We are looking to add more fun things in the Bark Park in the future.
