Evy’s puts this leash on her and they run around all day long. I know Tilly loves playing with her but it’s no wonder that they both take a 2 hour nap everyday. 🤣

Neurological stimulation and early socialization for a lot of breeders means a strict 8 week puppy curriculum that is done every day starting at 3 days and continuing until the puppy is 8 weeks old.
Personally, I prefer a more natural and laid back approach.
I’m not trying to raise a high performing therapy dog with a hefty 🏷️.
I want to offer people an exceptional family 🧑🧑🧒🧒 dog that doesn’t break the 🏦.
So when doing our early socialization and neurological stimulation we focus on things that come naturally.
We hold our puppies everyday and as we do we gently pull ears, touch paws, and, tug tails. A lot of this happens simply by being played with by small children. These times are always carefully supervised by an adult.
Next, we expose them to as many new environments, noises, textures, smells, and experiences as we can cram into the 8 weeks they are with us.
They get used to being groomed, having their teeth looked at, and being bathed. All in a postive way that feels safe for the puppies. They take at least one car ride, get comfortable with a crate, and grow accustomed to walking on different floors and in different places outside (concrete, grass, etc).
We want our puppies to feel confident and empowered when they go home with you. So we do our best to prepare them as much as possibly. 🐾
