🐾❤️ Prepare yourself for a poignant tale! Witness two adorable canine companions, Alex and Marty who endured a harrowing ordeal - youngsters cruelly subjecting them to physical abuse. Prior to their rescue, these brave pups were discovered feasting on rodents, prompting their sheltering at ARK, a compassionate Rescue. Tragically, one of the pups suffered a gunshot wound to the mouth, necessitating delicate sutures. It is with utmost urgency that we implore our local community to rally together, providing much-needed support and donations to ensure the kennel can offer the necessary care and aid for these innocent souls. 🙏🏼🏥

Thanks to the Petfinder Foundation, many rescued dogs at Animal Rescue Konsortium (ARK) in Crescent City are enjoying special Kong toys and treats. This amazing foundation is the ONLY national organization that funds animal shelters and rescue organizations exclusively. They have many grant opportunities that help with the care and enrichment of dogs and cats in rescues and shelters. In fact, over 10,000 shelters and rescues have benefited and over 180,000 pets were helped in 2022 alone. AMAZING! Animal Rescue Konsortium (ARK) of Crescent City Florida, was fortunate to receive a grant from this foundation to enrich the lives of dogs while there await their loving families. So many dogs will be wagging their tails and licking their chops with joy thanks for their generosity. To All Animals Lovers in Crescent City - Animal Rescue Konsortium (ARK) is working to obtain a grant to provide Putnam County with its FIRST LOW COST SPAY AND NEUTER CLINIC right here in Crescent City. We know you would like access to affordable options to have your pets spayed/neutered and want to help reduce the number of stray cats and dogs in our community,
Therefore, WE NEED YOUR VOICE in the Crescent City Town Hall Commissioners meeting this Thursday (February 8th) during the meeting that starts at 6:00pm. We will be presenting our recommendation for support to the commission and need your support and your voice as well. Please plan to attend...We look forward to seeing you there!!!!!

We would like to say thank you so much to Petfinder Foundation for awarding a 2023 play yard renovation grant! We are already using this fun playground equipment for the enrichment of our fosters! Well, we have another 4 puppies today, covered in fleas, some skin issues but nothing that time, care and love can't fix. These babies are now vaccinated, dewormed, bathed, fed and ready to go to their new families. Come by, fill out an application meet the Grinch crew ❤️ they are approximately 8 weeks old.
