All the Nigerians are kidded out and and it was everyday for a week a dam was kidding or having to watch and make sure the kids were getting out of the heat boxes to nurse, setting alarms through the night to do checks! Last night we were in bed by 9:30 which is EARLY 😆

Now time for the remainder of our Boer dams to kid!

In preparation for the freezing temperatures, the pens were given fresh bedding. We would appreciate your consideration for local livestock farms, especially those that may have animals giving birth during this season. 💗

Happy Holidays. We are accepting Christmas tree donations anytime! They can be left anytime in front of our barn. Pine trees are great for the goats, providing nutrients, vitamin c, and a natural dewormer. As a bonus, Christmas tree donations help cut down on food costs.

Trees must be green. We cannot accept trees that were painted or tinsel was used.
