‼️🚨 BEWARE of SCAMMERS 🚨‼️

Often people who claim to be MC rescues (or breeders in general!) - especially in another Cattery's comment section - are SCAMMERS!!!

Make sure to talk on the phone with a potential breeder or rescue,

call and confirm with whichever group they are certified with - TICA or CFA,

ask for references,

if they're not willing to have people come to their cattery or video call with their cats, etc...

RUN!

We've had doctors, attornerys, etc - savvy and smart people - get scammed out of hundreds and thousands before they came to us!!!

If someone comments on a breeders' posts and page like people have done multiple times on these most recent posts claiming to be a rescue, MC group, or breeder - they are a scammer and report them please!

They especially try to pull at your heart strings (and wallet!) by claiming to be a rescue.

Typically you will not find a purebred, pedigreed Maine C**n under (and this is typically at the very minimum!) of $1500 (and that's usually just when people first start out!). Of course there are exceptions for retired Kings and Queens, etc.
