Sometimes we are blessed with the arrival of something that we can't immediately or easily identify. Therefore, we ask a lot of questions. What birds have you seen in the area? Where was the nest located ( in a shrub, tree, ground..) what plants are in the area? We look at the shape and color of the beak. The legs. Any feathers. Even the location of where the feathers are coming in can assist with the identification. But, no matter what, we are thankful for your efforts to help the little ones in need 💕♥️

It doesn't take much to supplement your flock. 10-20 mealworms per chicken per day

For chicks, 1 for every week of age per chick per day.
i.e. for 4 week old chicks, feed 4 per day.
