We held an extra group practice today so we'll be ready for our Christmas trick dog skits on Friday!

We didn't teach/learn anything new at our trick group meeting today. We practiced for our skits next week, chatted and laughed. Another great time! Oh and we made plans for our potluck that we'll enjoy after our show next Friday!

We had a GREAT Pet First Aid & CPR class today! Seven people earned their certificates after learning some incredibly valuable information!

Today at our trick dog group class we're going to be learning:

Head c**k
We’ll teach our dogs to c**k their heads so they look like they’re listening to what we’re saying!

Paws in a box
We’ll get our dogs to climb into a box with all four feet!

Soccer
We’re going to teach our dogs to push a ball so they can bowl!

Bow under a magic square
Well, sort of! We’re going to use Klimb platforms and have the dogs bow under the balance beam.

Puppies or dogs as Christmas gifts often don't work out too well, which is why many rescues will not adopt out this time of the year. Please make sure you know what you're getting yourself into and do your breed research before bringing a puppy or dog home! ❤️

It literally took ALL night, but the training room has temporarily been converted to a photography studio once again. Haha I learned my lesson this time for sure - NO classes or lessons a day or two before a shoot. I'm way too old to pull an all-nighter!

Guests can enjoy hot chocolate with all the right fixings and a yummy snack before they go! I make NO promises anything will be left if you chose to book Sunday and not Saturday!

QCC's Slick Tricks for Kicks group is off and running! We're already working on our December theme and are putting Christmas related skits together. Each dog started to learn a few new tricks today and we had some great laughs, especially at Chunky Monkey's expense! If you're interested in joining the group, we'll meet weekly usually 3x / month (4 whenever possible) and I'll be adding a 2nd day each week so you can make it to whichever one best suits your schedule that week! I've got lots of fun equipment for the dogs to learn with and can guarantee a good time and some great laughs! This is a great way to get out of the weather and have fun with your dog!

Who is in need of a service dog? I have a female German Shepherd x Belgian Malinois that's well started on item retrieval. She also performs tasks that can help with PTSD or anxiety. She will be finished with all her preliminary training VERY soon. Contact me asap so we can discuss getting her trained to suit your specific needs!

THIS GIRL!!! She is just the BEST dog! Please share!!! She's a rescue looking for a new home. Someone PLEASE adopt her soon! I am over my head with the new training center and training service dogs and trick dogs. She wouldn't get the attention she deserves staying with me as I already have enough pets and all of my neighbors would appreciate it if all my rescues could find homes asap!

Her name is Dotty. She's about a year and a half old, Great Pyrenees mix (with a husky type coat - easy maintenance), up to date on vaccinations, spayed and is just an awesome family member! She knows her basic obedience as well as a few fun tricks. I'm just asking for a rehoming fee to make sure she doesn't end up in the wrong hands. Adoption application and home check are a must.
