❤️ Say “Hi” to Vinnie! He is a 5 month old puppy, and just the cutest little guy ever!

✈️ Vinnie is learning to accept his airline crate so he can eventually travel with his family. It important to make crating a very fun and rewarding experience so that our pups can be less stressed during travel!

🐶 Vinnie is learning a lot of important things to keep him safe both during travel and at home. Starting your training with your puppy as soon as possible will set them up for a lifetime of success.

Preview of one of the goodies we’re giving out at the AKC Fetch Test on November 10th 🙂

Nothing says fall like plaid! Everyone who enters will get a fun fall bandana… We’ve got a ton of colors to choose from! There’s still a couple of days left to pre-enter… Pre-entries close Sunday at 11:59pm!

It’s very hard to show a pic of a bandana on a dog with a long beard, by the way. I told him to “wait” and tossed a piece of cheese so I could get a profile view. He apparently thinks he’s a pointer. A Cheese Pointer! Brand new breed 😁

Hello everyone! Dae Grodin and I will be back at Bicentennial Park in Cincinnati for another AKC Fetch Test! Woohoo!

We are going to have a fun fall theme, with another really cute photo-op, fall themed title rosettes, and fall themed goodies for all 🙂

Blazing Good Bites will be joining us again with some super yummy homemade treats!

Oh my gosh, look what just came in! 🤩

🏵️Rosettes for the AKC Fetch test happening on July 28th! 🏵️

❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

We will be having the advanced and retriever rosettes revised as there was a miscommunication and the rainbows were not incorporated into the top portion, but the second photo is a little sneak peek at what they will look like… Just imagine more rainbows 💭🌈

Pre-Entries are CLOSING on Sunday, July 21st. Afterwards we will only accept day-of entries. Make sure to get in those entries ASAP! We will also have free rainbow tennis balls and tie-dye bandanas for ALL entrants, so even if you don’t manage to title you’ll be taking home some fun goodies 🥳

👀 Oh look what came in the mail!

🌈 For our next AKC Fetch Test we decided to give away some free goodies to everyone who enters— A SUPER cute tie dye bandana, and a fun rainbow tennis ball! Here are Dae’s dogs being excellent models.

🐶 We’ll also be joined by Blazing Good Bites! They sell wonderful high quality jerky dog treats… Maybe you’ve seen them around at the local dog shows!

🏵️ Rosettes were ordered yesterday and we’re sooo excited to share them with you… Keep an eye out! 😉

Hello everyone!

Super duper excited to announce that Dog-Abilities LLC and I are hosting another AKC FETCH Test! 🥳

This time we were able to secure a fully fenced baseball field right in Cincinnati at Bicentennial Park! Many thanks to Green Township for giving us permission to use the field when typically no dogs are allowed.

Since the field is big enough, we will be able to test ALL LEVELS this time 🎾 I’m super excited to get the chance to judge the higher levels.

Entries open at ❕8:00 AM EST June 1st❕ Entries made prior to this date will be refunded.

Our theme for this test will be Tie Dye. We are planning on having a really cute photo op set up and really pretty rainbow rosettes. 🏵️ We will make sure to share those closer to test date ☺️

This is Reggie! 🐾

🥰 Reggie is a very good boy, but needs some help because he has BIG FEELINGS about strange people and dogs being in his space!

🐶 A lot of dogs have big feelings. That doesn’t make them bad dogs, they just need help to learn to feel safe around certain things!

💡Using positive training methods can help dogs like Reggie learn to feel more comfortable and confident around things that might be scary or stressful.

In a previous post I mentioned that we are teaming up with Dog-Abilities LLC to offer an AKC Fetch Test on April 13th. In preparation, Dae will be hosting an informational session and drop in classes in the weeks leading up to the test. I highly encourage anyone who is interested at all to sign up! 🎾🐕🐾

Do you want to learn about AKC's newest titling venue, FETCH? We will be holding an informational session Wednesday, March 20th at 6:00pm at Doggie Paddles. Cost is $25. No dogs for this session.

We will have drop ins with your dog on March 27th, April 3rd, and April 10th, starting at 6:00pm and 6:45pm. $20. Register by emailing us at [email protected].

Dog-Abilities LLC and Poised Paws are teaming up to offer two AKC Fetch Tests on April 13! Mark your calendars! Entries open March 1st at 8:00AM EST.

The AKC Fetch Test is open to ALL BREEDS including Mixed Breed dogs with an AKC number. If you are interested in signing your dog up for an AKC Number, feel free to PM me so I can send you a link to do so! Any dog can join the AKC regardless of where you got them. 🙂

I will post a clickable link to the premium for this event in the comments, as well as a link to info about AKC’s Fetch Program.
