This puppy was overdue for his first groom, the client kept the hair tangle free. Getting a young dog use to the process is important.
The puppy hair was trimmed off to reveal what color the dog will be.

This is an urgent notification:
I have been in contact with several Vets in my service area.
There has been one case In Roanoke.
If your dog show any symptoms please cancel the grooming appointment and get medical attention.
I am using disposable aprons, broad spectrum disinfectants and observing my clients closely.

If your dog go to daycare, dog parks, grooming shops that they can meet dogs nose to nose be aware.

Clients and friends please be aware of this Canine Bacterial/ Viral Infection that is spreading.. no cases in Virginia as yet. I will keep my eyes out for any report from Dept of Health or Animal Authorities.
Please know I will be taking extra hygiene measures between each appointment.
Safety, Hygiene and Style are my priorities.

Cases have been reported in Oregon, Colorado, Indiana, Illinois, Washington, Idaho, California, the Northeast and more.

This is a horrible crime of negligence and cruelty.
There is a line between what I am ethically and professionally assigned to do and that of a Licensed Veterinarian. My professional insurance and the laws in Virginia are clear.
This is an extreme case but there has been times I have declined requests and ask the client to seek Veterinary Services.

I am deeply appreciative of the support and consistency of my loyal clients.
It is necessary to require all dogs to be seen on a regular basis. Intervals depending on their needs and breed.
Maximum allowed is 12 weeks. Haircut/ Styled dogs 4-8 weeks.

At this time I am no longer able to add more to the roster. I will be working a 40 hour week .
Tuesday - Saturday 9:30am -5:30pm

This is an updated price list for dogs that are groomed on a 5-6 week basis. My rate is $70 per hour which is very reasonable for a Mobile Service.
Northern Virginia and Richmond areas are substantially higher.
Inflation has increased all goods and services required to keep my truck on the road.
