We are so excited to share the news that K9 Bandit has been released to go back to full duty at work!!! The past month has been a roller coaster of a ride for K9 Bandit but he is doing fantastic. In fact, he has already seized large quantities of illegal narcotics off the streets! We are so proud of K9 Bandit and he will forever have our hearts 💙

Many people do not understand that waiting to train your dog means allowing an animal to gain maturity as a pack animal and establish itself as boss. Dogs are pack animals, so once it believes it own you, you may have reached a dog that actually controls you. I have had these calls many times. The 2 year old German Shepard now controls the house and will bite the owner to back up its dominance of the territory it claims. Guess how many breeds can be like this…… You train them or they train you.

Good confirmation is rare. Expensive dogs from breeders can have birth defects. It has amazed me how bad breeding can be in the US for any dogs. Have you had a genetic defective dog from a reputable breeder? Post your favorite bad breeder below.

Train before they grow up. This is a constant theme with so many people regretting not starting earlier. Many bad situations are created by the owner when they do not give proper structure. Any dog can learn at any age. It is so much easier on both of you to teach impulse control, clear rules, and how to burn energy in ways you WANT.

When you are this cute, you may assume you don’t really need training, but if you bite, act crazy, or just run away, training can give you more freedom and a much better life. See, structure, rules, boundaries and commands are life, not restrictive. A safer and more full life comes from teaching commandments.

Dog on a log! At least one person knows what that is about.
Confidence is walking 4 foot off the ground on a belt just to walk closer to me. No command, no compulsion of any type. Training to this point made a confident dog more confident.
