☀️Before Malachi’s family left for Florida for the season, they thought way in advance and left me a Holiday Card with a generous gift inside. But the greatest gift they left was this card with the most heartfelt words, that literally brought tears to my eyes.
Without a doubt, being an entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart, especially for anyone in my industry. And it most certainly is not for everyone. It takes sacrificing little bits of yourself for the bigger picture for your future. It sometimes takes missing loved ones birthdays, working holidays, minimal vacations, working in all weather conditions, navigating the ebbs and flows of (dog) clients passing, moving, or experiencing their own life changes. Nothing is ever promised or guaranteed in life, for myself or my clients. Life happens and can bring us all in unexpected directions. We all make choices and decisions with good intentions from our hearts. Life itself has its ebbs and flows that we have no control over, but how we navigate through it is what matters the most.
I often lose sight of how valuable I *actually* am to my clients, even though over the years 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 have shown how big their hearts are and shower me in the kindest words, gifts, hugs, support, and love. Over the course of 12 years, I wake up and approach the day with my best foot forward even when there are some days I am dealing with my own personal challenges. The thing that keeps me going are all my beautiful furry friends. I could be having a rough day, but once I am outside with my packs and fall into a zen state with them on our walks, I forget whatever noise that seemed so loud in my head when I started my morning.
I’m so, so, grateful for my clients. As we approach the end of 2024 with another year as Sunshine Pack Walking, all I can say is WOW. It’s been hard work, but there is nowhere else I’d rather be. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can’t wait to continue to grow with you all☀️
