☀️Levi☀️ Everyone, meet Levi! This introduction is long overdue. I keep telling myself I’d be better at posting on social media more routinely, but let’s be honest, I rest, recharge, and choose to be present in whatever necessary tasks I need to get done after work 🫠. Levi was rescued at the end of November and he is a Cali boy. His parents didn’t know too much about him, but quickly realized that he was a boy with separation anxiety. They made the right decision to hire professionals so that he could live a fulfilled life in his new home. Levi started working with Shelby from @gremlindogtraining, and in a matter of a couple months, I began working with him too ❤️. Levi was a very timid boy when I first started working with him. He didn’t have much confidence on our walks and refused to jump in my van. Since working with him, I have experienced a whole different side of him. He has this sweet and playful personality. He’s built up more confidence, he has made so many new friends, he’s learned to walk loose on the leash, and he is just shining so bright since becoming a Sunshine Pack member ☀️. 👋🏽 Hi— can we PLEASE normalize that it is totally okay to see a cute dog and not feel the urge to pet it without asking permission? I have been in the industry for almost 12 years. I take my profession very seriously because I’m working with animals. It is my job to advocate for my clients dog, to set boundaries, and to train the behaviors pet parents want, and the behaviors I need in order for them to walk in my pack. People need to understand and realize it is NEVER okay, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES l to pet a strange dog without asking the handler first. The dogs I work with have their own unique personalities. Some are fearful, some are reactive, some are anxious or excitable…the list goes on. It takes a lot of effort, time, work, and training to work with each individual dog. The same applies to pet parents walking their own dog. I’d you are someone who thinks it’s acceptable to just pet a strange dog without permission. This is your sign to STOP. Would you want a total stranger walking up to you, touching you, and getting in your personal space?? No probably not…end rant. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!! ☀️ #respectpersonalspace

🎉Happy 6th Birthday to this sweet girl, Tasha!! She has come such a long way since she started with the pack and it’s always a joy working with her.
