A sneak peak into the life of a dog trainer - watch to the end to see me get taken out with a tree
We have some big news! Me (Alison) and Quigley got an amazing internship opportunity with @americank9s this winter and we will be leaving beginning of January and will be gone till April. We are so excited to continue our education and learn new things so we can continue to offer high quality services. Those who wish to continue training while I’m gone please contact me so I can give you a list of references for other talented trainers. At this time we are not accepting any new clients.

Prema and her mom invited their friend out to our session because Prema gets very excited and doesn’t listen when they’re around. She did great working on this and we even worked on getting some in motion downs!
Tokio working on some e-collar conditioning around some distractions at the park! Loving how this girl is progressing😆
Tokios Public Session!
I’ve been slacking on updates and this one is a bit old but whatever. Pretty boring video but fun to see how she’s progressed. She’s learned all the commands now we are starting to proof them in different environments and distractions. Something she’s been struggling with is popping out of positions when she’s excited, so in this session we worked a bit on that.
Tokio Update!
Tokio update!
I started off first day or two creating boundaries and letting her settle in, now we begin training. This is after a few sessions with me but she’s already made improvements. We have begun re training her down as she likes to pop up and isn’t confident on the command. She’s worked for every meal so far and we are starting to free shape place, and begin working on stay, come, heel, and all the basics.
This girl is a joy to have and a blast to train!
Featuring Soot and Quigley as distractions😆
4 month old Freckles showing off her skills! We are starting to work on proofing her behaviors and work around more distractions. Today we worked in Lowe’s and practiced being neutral around other dogs and distractions. Super proud of her and her mom for putting in the work.
Quigley finding some cadaver source at SAR training today! Couldn’t be happier with how this girl is progressing, my goal for her this 2023 is to pass our certification test this coming May🤞
Puppy Freckles just finished her 4 week “Puppy/Beginner” course and is now moving on to intermediate to progress her training further. Look at her absolutely nailing her focused heel and bed stay!

Tinks Adventure Day!
Today Tink joined me for some day training to practice the skills she’s been learning at home.
We practiced her recall and had her e-collar on so she could have more freedom and not worry about her ignoring me in an emergency situation. She did great when other dogs and even snow machines passed us.
She can be a bit excited around new dogs so we practiced how to properly socialize and play with others. We also worked on getting her through some insecurities in public settings and ignoring distractions.
Good Job Tink!😊

Amigos first public session! We worked on engaging around distractions, loose leash walking and just being in the presence of lots of people. He did great, so pleased with how far him and his mom have come and can’t wait to watch them progress further. Way to go Amigo!
Some of the pups showing off their public skills! Can’t even tell that it was Xena’s first time training in public. So proud of these pups and can’t wait to watch them improve😊
Gibbey and his new mom working on door boundaries and crate games! 🔥This smart boy is absolutely killing it and I can’t wait to watch him progress in his training.
Quigley showing off some of her obedience skills! Quigley is my personal dog, you may see her helping out with private sessions or just hanging out. She absolutely loves meeting everyone (and getting treats of course).
She and I are currently training in SAR (search and rescue) but we also still constantly train obedience so her skills stay sharp.
We don’t just train obedience though, we also help owners and dogs with: reactivity, house manners, social skills, foundations, and more.

Charley and his mom have been taking private sessions with me to work on his leash manners and door manners.
He liked to jump on guests, rush the door and pull on leash. Here he is now rocking his bed stay and loose leash walking around distractions.
Me and his mom couldn’t be happier with how he is doing and they can finally enjoy a peaceful walk and have guests over without him being up in their space. 😊

Luna has improved SO much throughout the time I’ve worked with her. Her owners have put in the work and it shows! Before they wouldn’t walk her because she was so reactive and she has previously gotten loose and gotten into fights. Luna still isn’t perfect but she has made immense progress and given her owners hope.
