SIRIUS K9 ACADEMY AZ is located in Flagstaff, AZ and is owned and managed by Caroline Haldeman. Our highly trained and experienced staff has been educating and helping thousands of dog owners attain their goals with their K9 partners for more than sixteen years! Sirius K9 Academy was created in Orange County, CA in Feb 2004 to offer those wanting more then the generally low-quality "pet training" offered elsewhere, and we are thrilled to provide training in Flagstaff, AZ as well. Sirius K9 Academy has received many accolades, awards, and reviews on countless sites online because we are dedicated to every client's success and we constantly strive to exceed your expectations.

We work with all breeds and all ages and our staff is some of the best you will ever work with! No one can match our expertise because they lack the extensive experience and knowledge that we possess. We have over 30 years experience! All of our trainers are Pet CPR & First Aid Certified and are Certified Expert Dog Trainers (they have attended the Tom Rose School for Dog Trainers in High Ridge, MO to get certified.) Most trainers you see advertising their services have very little hands-on professional schooling (if any) and are not certified!

Some of the many classes we offer include Basic Obedience, Intermediate Obedience, Advanced Obedience, K9 Group Hikes, Field Trip Obedience classes, Personal Protection / Security K9 Training, Detection & K9 Search Training, Tracking, Competition Obedience Training, and Remote Collar Training.

We offer Private One-On-One Custom Lessons at your home or office or at our location.

We also provide In-Kennel Training (Boot Camp Training!) What separates us from everyone else, ALL the dogs we take in for training for our clients stay at the homes of our trainers (NOT at a high-stress boarding kennel) and we limit the number of dogs we take in so every dog in our care gets a ton of attention! We also provide video updates of the dog’s progress as well as photos so you always know how your dog is doing and progressing with the training.

We offer BALANCED TRAINING! We use verbal and physical praise, and treats and toys to motivate and reward the dogs, as well as a training collar best suited to the dog’s temperament to reinforce all the formal commands and to correct negative behavior. We also encourage our clients to use a different language when training their dogs. We use a variety of training techniques and are up-to-date on the latest training tools and methods. We know that every client and dog is different, so we are flexible to meet your situation and needs.

Our obedience and protection training standards are unmatched in the industry and our training sessions are always fun, challenging, and rewarding. If you want to develop an awesome relationship with your K9 partner while having fun working your dog ,and you want your dog to respond to your commands reliably, even with difficult distractions, then you have come to the right place!

Our goal is to help every dog become neutral to the environment (including to other dogs and people) and improve and broaden every handler's skills and knowledge so that they can become a confident, savvy, and responsible dog owner.
