Take In Your Environment!
All too often I meet people with dogs that are far too stimulated when outside. This can show in a handful of different ways in your dog. Commonly, behaviors like, pulling, jumping, barking.. the ones the draw the attention to you!
While each dog is different, taking some time to sit and let your dog soak in the environment around them can really do wonders for them.
They learn to become comfortable in their environment, and the overall initial excitement factor of being outside becomes less intense and more routine.
Add in a strong foundation of obedience training, and you are on the path to success!

Did you know dogs are mostly front wheel drive?They tend to move their front paws first, no matter the direction they are going. Their back legs mostly just follow along. Teaching them to step with their back legs creates a greater hind-end awareness for them. I am a big believer in early exposure when you can. You can see, it is not perfect by any means, but they will certainly have an increased confidence and stability, all things I love in a puppy and dog!
