We had an “oops breed” our good boy Chief proved that when there’s a Will there’s a way, and had puppies with our AKC registered lab. It was an accident, but we do feel like we hit the trifecta of breeds. Mom is a registered chocolate lab, and dad is half golden retriever and half red border collie. We basically have made the smartest, friendliest, most loyal puppies you could ask for. Dad is a hunter and a herder, and watches over the ranch, and literally can’t get enough loves just like his golden retriever side. Mom is the calmest and sweetest lab, she listens well and loves to lounge around in the recliner, she has never been hunting, but she is naturally very interested in our birds, her line could be taught to hunt very easily. The puppies mostly look like labs, but a couple of them have the golden retriever wavy fur, some of them have a little bit of white markings on their chest or paws like the border collie in them. Both of our chocolate puppies have beautiful blue eyes. These puppies have been held and loved dearly since the day they were born. First set of shots have been given and they have been dewormed. They were born on September 7, 2022 and will be ready to go to their forever families the first week of November. Make yourselves extra thankful for your new fur baby this Thanksgiving!
