Our buddy Frank from Gigi and Notorious’ litter stopped by for a visit. He’s such a sweet ham! 😊 Gosh, we really love how most of our families stay in touch, send pictures, stop over, etc….We have built such great relationships along the way. ♥️

Unfortunately, we got some tough news, Zuri isn’t pregnant. Such devastating news considering her last pregnancy she only had one puppy and the sack was in pretty rough shape with an underdeveloped baby. 🥲 Of course this time she ended needing her insemination over Memorial Day weekend. We tried to do what we could but I guess it wasn’t in the lords plans.

I feel so awful for the 5 families waiting for a puppy. We will try again this fall. Thank you so much to all our fur families for being so understanding and having patience with us.

This breeding stuff is not for the weak. So much time, money and sacrifice and often times things don’t work as you’d hoped.

The Fourth of July is approaching fast. If you have a dog that is scared of the fireworks. Here’s a few tips.

-Contact your vet now to get a plan in place. They have medications that really work, but it’s usually a good idea to start them a week prior.

-A brisk walk before dusk to try and help them tire out.

-Keep the fans on high for noise.

-Keep the TV on for noise.

-A few enrichment toys to help tire them. Stuffed Kongs-frozen, bones, snuffle mat, lick mat, etc…

-Provide a calm environment.

-Keep a collar on them with tags in case they get out. A dogs initial reaction to loud scary noises is to run.

With these nasty temps here for the week here’s a friendly reminder…..FRENCHIES CANT HANDLE THESE HOT AND HUMID TEMPS!! Read below, these few items can save your dogs life.

We sat outside with friends yesterday. So I left the swim pad up all day and I get mine wet with cool water every 20-30 minutes. I also had a fan out on my deck blowing on them.

PLEASE DONT BRING YOUR DOGS IN THE CAR IN THESE TEMPS!!
